“Ummm YUMMM! This was my first visit to a Qdoba anywhere and wow we were impressed. The portions were huge and the quality of the meat was significantly better than chipotle! Better Cuts without huge chunks of fat, better seasoning, better cooked LOL the list goes on. When you ask for extra something they actually put extra in and everything in the order was done properly the first time. Their salsas were far superior and queso to die for! First time customers got chips in queso for free! We will absolutely be switching from Chipotle to qdoba. It's more akin to a Mexican form of Cava in my opinion with far superior ingredients.... I hope they offer coupons or etc. Would be nice to have some on occasion as we will be often repeat customers. I also just posted my experience on a social media group for Frederick and about half of the 50 who replied had jo idea a qdoba opened here so i think i helped this location a bit lol. :)”

“Bloom Asian Haus is beautiful. The atmosphere is stunning, with flowing flowers, and a very Zen vibe. The service was excellent, as we were seated and greeted immediately. The menu is not expansive, with inspiration from many Asian cultures. We started out with some beautiful dumplings shaped like purple flowers. For our entrees we had a noodle dish, which came with broth on the side, and Salt & Pepper prawns (shrimp). Both dishes had gorgeous presentations, but we agreed that neither were seasoned very well, and the shrimp definitely needed some sort of sauce to accompany them. I think Bloom is a very nice place if you're looking for a romantic atmosphere. This was my date's second visit, she said the food was slightly better her first visit, so I think another trip is in the cards.”

“I just visited Pho 52 for the first time and I can tell you I will definitely be going back. I had the large P1 special (everything on it). The broth was delicious, it's light but full of beef flavor at the same time, and it has just the right amount of fat needed to give it that homemade taste. It was served with plenty of both meat and noodles. I can't wait to try all of their other offerings. The place is low key and has a home feel to it. I highly recommend this local gem. 👍🏼”

“We have been going to Steinhardt Brewing to Thursday Night Pour House Trivia for several times now. Well attended and lots of fun! The location has two large areas, and outside seating when it is warmer. The one area has a bar and live music. The area we sit in is equally as large and hosts the trivia. Lots of various beers including Ales, Lagers, Belgian and Stouts. Our favorite is the Orange Haze. Comes in various sizes as well! There is also Seltzer which you can add various flavors. In regards to food,, you can either bring your own or visit the food trucks stationed outside. We have done both! They also have games like darts, which can be lots of fun. Service is excellent. The trivia host is fantastic and all the servers and bartenders are outstanding. Overall, a great experience! Enjoy!”

“Husband and I went on a Sunday midday and enjoyed the patties, the burger, and the curry chicken. All were absolutely delicious. Patties have a little spice (that chicken patty is the absolute BEST) and the curry chicken is authentic and fantastic. Husband loved the burger and we loved the presentation on everything. HIGHLY recommend. VERY different food since the turnover from the previous restaurant that was there. We had excellent service, too: friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. We were really impressed. If you haven't been give it a try. Can't wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu!”

“Chilangadas la nena has the true authentic Mexican taste that you won’t find anywhere else! Every time I come here I am greeted with such wonderful smiles and positivity. There is true passion and love in this food truck that I can see. Their quesobirria tacos are to die for! They are always made so fresh. They come out really fast Always. The meat has such a delicious flavor and same with the consume. Their portions sizes are prefect! I love to come here often because it’s the only place in Frederick that has that authentic taste that I have been looking for. The mangonadas are another treat that you can’t get anywhere else! Frederick has really needed someone like La Nena to give us the the true Mexican flavor. It’s a great place to come and stop by to grab a quick bite or to come with family and sit down and enjoy! “So I visited this new restaurant with my hubby and I was impressed with the quality and price of our meal. The proportion was good for the price. I ordered pounded yam (made with real yam, and I was surprised) , egusi (melon soup), beef (I enjoyed 😉). I didn't have a choice when I tried their pastry than to order them as to go. The dough crust literally dissolves in your mouth (for me, this is what I look for in nigerian pastries). Now let's talk about the suya- in-a-box. This box of suya had fresh vegetables (sliced tomatoes,cucumber, and red onions), just the right amount of seasoning, and the beef was not dry at all (check my video). The only thing I would have loved was a little bit of hot suya spice/powder on the side. Lastly, I got puff puff for my kids, and yes, they enjoyed it - not too sweet and not oily. Overall, this is a place where you will get value for your buck.”

“Haven’t been disappointed yet. Tortilla soup was good. Camaron, pastor, birria tacos. All excellent. Camaron - 9.5/10. It’s nice it’s actually chopped a little. Pastor - 9/10. I had them twice. First time it was a bit late so they were a little dry I think. Second time made up. Very fresh. Birria - 9/10. Hella greasy, but as expected. Cheese melted perfectly, right amount of meat. Portions seem appropriate. House chips & salsa are very addictive. Service is very friendly and attentive. - edit - Forgot to add I had ground beef hard shell also. They were very good. Beef had great flavor. Owner/manager on a slow day helped out the servers and was extremely polite.”

“Our go to spot for ice cream in Frederick. They have a big menu with lots of different flavors and a variety of items like milkshakes, sundaes, cones, etc. The scoops are really big. They give out coupons sometimes and I use their rewards program to get a birthday treat and $5 off every once in a while. They also offer free pup cups for our puppies which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a milk bone treat. The drive thru is really fast or you can go up to the counter to order and sit outside on the benches or tables.”

“My daughter and I came across this place during one of our evening walks during the summer. She fell in love with it and insisted on having her birthday party there. Karla and team were amazing they did everything in their power to accommodate us. They had games set up for the kids, we were able to play music of our choice. “Loved the atmosphere and cleanliness was fantastic! Everyone was super nice and helpful. My husband ordered a bento box that was good but my sushi was fantastic! It is hard to find good fresh sushi that doesn’t break the bank or skimp on items. These were 8 large rolls each and they were stuffed with extremely fresh tuna and avocado. It was the Rock and Roll and the Volcano roll. Avocado was perfectly ripe and they piled on everything. I forgot to take pics until I had already had a couple rolls. No pics of the bento box but it was also packed and fresh! Very happy and will be back!”

“Pretty good but left a lot to be desired. The rolls are just good, definitely not a wow. What is a wow though is all the presentation. Everything is plated nicely, all nice silverware and such. Fire and dragon roll came out with a short burst of fire. Cool interior but personally not a fan. Lights are distractingly bright and the whole room feels more sterile than cozy. Needs an airlock door to keep the heat in and more intimate lighting. Potentially a lot nicer on a summer day or night though (it’s winter now) The sushi grade of the sashimi is not all the way there yet. The fatty tuna was 10/10 but the salmon was 5.5/10, slightly slimy and chewy. Very friendly staff For me the atmosphere and sushi is not worth the price and a visit back, but that’s my opinion. But you should still try it out because it’s unique and just opened so will get better and better.”

The owner is hugely friendly, genuinely interested in the experience of the customer, looks to really get to know the customer (and on several occasions I observed others come in to the restaurant and it was clear he had repeat customers as he seemed to know several by name). Small business, really hustling to make it and it shows, excellent job! And then there is the food... Yeah, it was on par with the above mentioned customer service. Mind you, I've got an exceptionally picky-eater in my house, and yet our entire family was quite happy with our meal. The format for this restaurant is similar to a few other (unnamed here) chains, but the taste of the food is considerably better, hands-down. Oh, did I mention customer service - yeah, no comparison here to the chains. Without qualification, we'll be back again. Well done!”
