“We are here for the first time today. They have a food truck in the parking lot of the Carroll Fuel on the corner of 103 and Old Columbia Pike. From their website you can download an app to order online. We did that and our order was ready in roughly 15 minutes. We ordered a few things to try: plantains, pork tacos, birria nachos, and the torta asada. Everything was delicious and the portions were surprisingly generous. The tacos were full of meat and toppings, the nachos had a hefty portion of meat, jalapeños, and cheese. The torta sandwich was one of the best I've had. We definitely will be back.”

“Great place for a fresh and quick bite! Got a veggie egg sandwich, sweet potato fries, and a coffee for just around $8 - you can get the sandwich alone for avout $4. Tasted great and loved all the veggies and cheese on it! Sweet potato fries excellent too, with some nice rock salt and pepper on top. Portions well sized too-not too much, but filling. I hope these cooks keep it up! Ill be coming for years”

“I love this place! Always very clean and pleasant to visit. The decor is so aesthetically pleasing, giving off very peaceful vibes and the smoothies are so refreshing, the tropical breeze is my favorite it’s the perfect pick me up! My daughter has a dairy allergy and I’m pretty sure she could have everything if not almost everything on the menu. I so appreciate the variety of vegan options. The avocado toast is delicious. I can see they really care about quality and quality assurance as they are always consistently good. “The menu selection at Cane's is very limited but the few things they do, they do well! You'll find pretty much the only things on their menu are chicken fingers and sides, and they don't have many alternatives available. They've only got the one sauce - Cane's sauce. So, if you aren't looking for this specific meal, I'd choose somewhere else, but if you're in the mood for chicken fingers, I'd definitely recommend it! They have fast service and the chicken fingers themselves are delicious. I also love their fries and texas toast with the sauce.”

Yet, we stumbled upon an unexpected gem! Top-notch soulful tunes (think SiR, Jazmine Sullivan, and Giveon) filled the air, and the vibe transformed into a sophisticated, smoke-free cigar lounge. The bartender/waitress makes a mean Lord of War cocktail (try it if you like lemon and whiskey/ bourbon)! The sweet and spicy General Tso wings and savory short rib tostada delighted our taste buds. Even their mistake of giving my guy a Blind Pig flatbread vs the requested meat-lover flatbread turned out to be a tasty surprise! The hot honey pepperoni pizza - pure magic! Pro tip for the confused: the dive bar lies hidden behind the first door on the left, en route to the antique mall. Mature folks: why go upstairs when they share the same kitchen. Stay downstairs! Sammy, Sean, and Susannah (I think that's how you spell it) were the most attentive and personable staff I've experienced at a restaurant. “Saw the reviews and thought I’d check them out. Did not disappoint. Burger was very tasty. Soft roll and they even gave me well done friend onions as I requested. “Deliciously filling and fluffy waffle dishes for around $15, they will keep you full the whole day! I recommend the crispy chicken & waffles, the steak egg and cheese and even the cordon bleu if you like blue cheese! The store is open from 7:30-2 on weekdays and did not have a dining area that I saw, but there’s a window to place and pick up orders. “The sign read “now open” so I went in to explore. The place looks like it’s still a little under construction but the kitchen was open and everything on the menu was ready except for curry chicken. I ordered two beef patties and they were delicious. I don’t think they are home made on site inasmuch as they have the identical taste and texture of patties I have had in many places - BUT they have salt fish patties, so an extra star for that option. The lady behind the counter was super helpful and pleasant and I’ll be glad to come again and try more things here. Come and get your Caribbean cuisine- everything is new at this new restaurant.”
