“Went went on a busy Saturday night with a party of four! We arrived around 8:30 and even though the place was packed dinner was winding down. The host (manager maybe? He was wearing a fancy jacket) seemed a little annoyed we didn't have a reservation but we only had to wait a few minutes, no other parties or reservations seemed to be waiting. I think next time we'd make a reservation either way. The food was REALLY good! The bread had a very crunchy crust but was warm when it arrived. The salad was fantastic, especially with the cracked black pepper on it. I was surprised how much that really took it up a notch. The salad was dressed in a light Caesar style dressing that was very good. The cook on the steaks was great, and the sauce was killer, it was a like a brown gravy. I liked it on both the steak and shoestring fries. The fries were nice and thin and everything was fast and hot. Seasoning was good on the steaks and the cut wasn't bad. The drinks were just okay, we tried the Lavender 75 which was a bit medicinal but not too sweet, and the blackberry sangria which was sweeter and had good flavor. We'd skip them next time I think. They've been open only a few days and the servers are obviously still learning the ropes, they couldn't help with drink or salad ingredients and while the cook on our steaks was great they didn't seem sure who ordered what, we had to trade plates. I'm hopeful they'll get that sorted out in the next few days though. It was a little gimmicky that they only serve one thing and the price was on the higher side, but we had fun and really enjoyed our meal. They've really nailed the steak thing. We can't wait to go back to try Brunch soon! I'll update if we do.”

“My biggest problem with this restaurant is they charge 3% for using a credit card. I am a firm believer in the cost of doing business should be built into the menu items. If you want to offer a cash discount on the back end - fine - but tacking this fee on checks to me is bad business and I generally avoid these restaurants. Took my Mom for mother's Day. Started off with a Mango Gin Fizz which was good. Bottled water was $7 which I thought was pricey. Shared the barn steak (basically a giant slab of bacon) and the caprese boat as an appetizer. Both were good except I feel the maple syrup on the bacon would have been better on the side. Ordered the shrimp and crab risotto but they didn't tell me today's risotto was mushroom so I sent it back and had to order something else while everyone else was eating. Ended up with the beef taco appetizer and it was pretty good. Dessert was cinnamon ice cream which I liked. Service was decent and the decor was very nice. Might return if I'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way just to go here again considering everything.”

“I've heard great things about the desserts here and I finally was able to pop in to try them out. The whole atmosphere was coffee bar lounge and not dessert, so it seemed to be that the desserts were an afterthought instead of the focus of this establishment. They serve wine too if that's your thing. I took home an assortment of desserts. They score high points on decorations and presentation, but I place more emphasis on the actual taste and found these desserts to be just average. By all means they'll pair well with a coffee or wine while you're lounging, but I think the desserts are not on the same level as other bakeries in the area that focus just on the sugary goods.”

“Continuing the practices and reputation of the original Oscar's Alehouse in Eldersburg, the excellence in food and service continues here in Woodstock. They feature a nicely decorated interior with spacious bar area, roomy dining room, and enclosed bright patio. They have set aside a separate area for functions as well. The wood grilling continues, I didn't know if they would bring that over. Makes their very reasonably priced burgers even better. The menu, if not the same as the other 3 locations is very close and has my favorites on it. I really like the wide variety of beer styles on tap with most of them local. Most are available in 12 ounce, 16 ounce pours or Crowlers for take out. I'm an immediate fan and will be a frequent customer.”

“I've been here before, and it's truly authentic Xi'an cuisine. This time I tried their new dishes: spicy minced pork noodle soup and spicy dumplings. Spicy minced pork noodle soup had generous portions, and the added ingredients in the soup were just right - sour and spicy, very delicious. “Cool vibe in what used to be the sit down restaurant side of Chicken & Whiskey. The pizza lived up to the hype. Perfectly cooked thin crust, slightly spicy sauce, really flavorful cheese, and cup pepperoni, which is always best. The chicken Parmesan sub was on great bread with super crispy, yet moist chicken, fresh mozzarella and basil. Really really good. The fries were perfectly cooked thin fries with the right amount of salt as well. Service was friendly and fast. Drinks were great. Highly highly recommend. May have instantly become Howard County's best pizza.”

“The interior was lovely, and I really enjoyed the bright space! When we arrived, there weren't too many people, and we were seated right away. It was so nice to not have to wait! I was super hungry, so I decided to go for the chicken katsu plate. It came with fried chicken cutlets, rice, soup, and salad. Although I'm not an expert on Japanese curry, I thought it tasted great! And, of course, I couldn't resist getting a dessert as well. The service was friendly; but I have to admit, it was a little too aggressive at times. We were interrupted quite a bit while we were eating and chatting. But overall, we had a lovely time! It was a bit pricier than we expected (~$30 each), so we might not be able to go back all the time, but we'll definitely be back again!”

“My family and I went to HyeBan today for dinner. We had Korean BBQ, mixed jeon, and grilled shrimp. The food was delicious and the servers were super friendly. The meat was tender and marinated meat was so delicious. All the side dishes complimented the main entrees so well. The restaurant has a clean wide open space and I love the fact that they have a little sink where you can just wash your hands instead of going to the bathroom. My daughter loved the steamed eggs and side dishes that came with the combo. We will be going back soon.”

“With not so many reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. For seafood lovers, this is a must go to. There were so many options and so many new things to try! The combination of buffet and also specialty items to order at no cost is super interesting! Not only was my waitress very very kind but she was super helpful too! Surprisingly, I loved the vegetables the most. I have not gone to a hot pit before with such fresh vegetables. What a pleasant surprise! Their herseys icecream is great too! “These dumplings are so good👍 I’m so glad that I could fine such authentic xiaolongbao in US. I highly recommend Rainbow Soup Dumplings because you can sample all the flavors, and they are all delicious. Personally, my favorites are the Mala, crabmeat, and black truffle. While I haven't tried their noodles yet, by how tasty their dumplings are, I'm definitely eager to give them a try next time!
