Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant

Dinner after a couple years since my last visit. It's still good. I've been to many Ethiopian restaurants, and this is my favorite. The restaurant is as clean as it was when it first opened. Anyone who likes indian curries, but wants to try something new, would like this place.

My husband found this little gem while searching for a new place for us to try. I am so happy that he found it.

We both ordered the vegetarian platter and it was amazing. It came with spicy red lentils, spicy potatoes, cabbage, split yellow peas and a few other things. Each serving was perfectly seasoned. The vegetarian dish did come with an egg, but there is also a vegan option which substitutes the egg for another veg dish.

For the carnivore, there are a good number of meat options, a lot more than I have seen at other Ethiopian restaurants. They have chicken, beef, lamb, goat, and seafood.

One suggestion that I have for Sheba is to separate the dishes that people order instead of serving them on a communal plate. It was really awkward for three hands reaching around and bumping wanting to eat something but not being able to reach across the table.

Overall, the food was delicious, and we will be bringing our out of town visitors here for a meal

Great service and good menu. I got the lamb sampler it was do delicious. I also tried something new it was like a egg plant stew it's on the far left on the plate. Very delicious reminded me of my own egg plant concoction lol. Anyhow totally recommend this place and I will be back. Only downside is parking can be tricky.

Can easily pass by because parking lot so small. Best to call in order... Food is delicious, dim light setting and intimate. Reasonable prices I suppose. Sabbusa could be cheaper.

Fantastic! Good people, great service, awesome food! Vegan options, good beer, wine, and amazing coffee. On my list to visit again. I can't state how good this place was!
