Far east restaurant

The food is great. The chefs are amazing. The service is great and our server, Amy was especially great and friendly to us and ensured that we had a great family reunion/experience!

A nice eating joint for Chinese food. Quality of food is quite good. Offers takeaway too. People are courteous

The food was OK. Most of the dishes were too sweet. The crispy duck could have used a bit more seasoning. The spicy dishes were not spicy at all. I would recommend the stir fried mixed vegetable but ask to hold on the sugar.

So I think I might have found my new dim sum place in the DC metro area. I loved oriental east in silver spring but after it shutdown I started going to Silver Fountain. But a friend took me to Far East and the food was amazing! Just like most typical dim sum places, yes you will have to wait and no they don't take reservations. Definitely worth it!

This is the absolute best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. I have been coming here since I was a 4 year old child. All of the problems in other reviews are overwhelming exaggerated. The food is fantastic, the establishment is clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. I saw at least one review because the customer screwed up and ordered the wrong dish. Out of the years and years that I have came to this establishment, I have never experienced a problem. The price is a bit heavier than one you would find at a mall, sometthing blasphemous to some people, but good food actually costs good money. The atmosphere is pleasant, and extremely refined. 11/10
