I decided to check this place out since my regular taco place was closed. I placed an order through the Toast app where there was an option to do curbside pickup. I selected it since I was in a hurry. As indicated in the app, I called the number multiple times upon arrival. The number would ring before directing me to leave a message but whoops! can’t do that because the mailbox is full 😐. Clearly this isn’t a number that leads straight to the restaurant as I was expecting. It should be removed as an option since it’s located in the back of a food hall that doesn’t have direct access to the street. All things I was unaware before placing my order. The food itself was decent-ish. The rice tastes like it came out a pre-made rice bag with some cilantro added of top for pizzaz. Not impressed

It’s located in the heights food hall. We had a really great brunch here today. We were practically the only people here at 12pm on a Sunday, so we had very attentive and fast service.

Chips and salsa were great with thin crispy chips and two types of house salsa, both delicious. I had the chilaquiles and she had the huevos rancheros. Nothing not to like, pretty great texmex fare, great flavors, spice, smoke and richness. The portions were massive and prices were very reasonable for brunch. $12 and $14 was cheaper than any of the other vendors at the heights food hall.

They will also let you bring drinks from the other vendors into the restaurant. We brought some awesome Cuban coffee from Saoco.

They seem to have a lot of daily and happy hour specials. Look forward to grabbing drinks here once they open the patio and garage doors for the warmer months.

I was so excited to try this restaurant/concept since I live close and always like to have fun places to go. Everything is bright and new and clean. The waiter was welcoming, but still not fully trained. The margarita, while tasty and pretty, came in a small bowl sized glass that was difficult to drink without spilling. The guacamole had a Rosa Mexicana presentation, but clearly premade. The guac side with my entree was tastier. My entree was a disaster. Two tacos that fell apart regardless of how delicate I tried to pick them up. The other half of the plate looked like my dog had a bad night. Visually unappealing. I think in an attempt to make the portions look big, they shoved the tacos onto a third of the plate with the rice and beans taking up the other 2/3rds. IMO, the tacos should be the focal point and the beans contained. Being our first time, my friend wanted to try the different taquitos. The waiter was diligent enough to order them, but food server "did not speak English" when she delivered to confirm that they were successful in ordering the different fillings (she did understand waiter's English) . I have worked in many restaurants, including Tex Mex ones. Please help your people understand so your customers are not frustrated. I work very hard at clear communication in my job, I do not want to struggle while trying to decompress from my day. The waiter was quick to follow up and the manager did stop by to refresh drinks and check on us. Right now, I will try the other concepts, but will do so in aiming to sit at the bar to watch sports. Fingers crossed things improve.

Had a delicious meal there on opening night. It wasn’t as kid-friendly as I’d hoped but the food was great and service was on point.
