“I'm a big fan of this place. I love their General Tsao chicken, not as oily or fried as kenny's or other Chinese restaurant places. Their subs are ok, but kenny's are better ( I agree). Their quality of food is better though than kenny's or other chinese restaurants I've been to except Silver Fountain-- but their way too expensive with the small portions given. Sandy's subs shop has great customer service! Their prices are fair and, if not, better than the competition. They're crab ragoon is amazing. I wanted to give this place a 5 star but my sister has always complained about their shrimp and broccoli, because of the shrimp. But I've had their seafood delight and enjoyed the entree.”

“We came here during weekend afternoon, and there were many people in the sitting areas. All the breads and desserts looked neat and pretty. We tried pork fluff bread, Mexico sweet bread, chocolate lava bread, chocolate roll cake, and milk pan bread, and all of them were pretty good. The price was also pretty affordable. Overall, I would recommend this bakery for getting Asian sweet bread.”

“Tried lamb gyros, chicken gyros and wings. Price is good and food amount good. Both gyros were delicious (5 /5). Wings were old and stale. Was smelling bad so had to throw. Sat inside . The table was cleaned may be with dirty rag, so the whole table was smelling bad. They have real good gyros. So I believe if they look into these issues, it can be a great restaurant to go often.”

“This is a very clean, friendly, and comfortable place. There are freshly brewed coffee, sandwiches, and salads. The Korean bibimbap and teriyaki bowl on the special menu are the best. If you are looking for a restaurant nearby, I recommend this place.”

“I highly recommend Bao Bei! Absolutely delicious Taiwanese street food in Rockville. Love the incredible flavor and texture of their buns. 😋 I ordered Tofu-rrific Bao, Toasted Sesame & Scallion Breads, and Brown Sugar Swirly Buns. Enjoyed them all so much that I ordered again in less than a week! Meals were packaged well and included a surprise gift. Wonderful service from Kevin. Looking forward to savoring another bun from here soon!”

“We have been eyeing this place for months as we are frequent shoppers at Mom's Market next door. Always seem to be in a hurry when grocery shopping so never took the time to stop in. Recently, we took the plunge and have been back a few times since because the food is so delicious. Don't overlook this place as it is nestled in a corner that doesn't naturally beckon but be forewarned, once you've tasted what they are serving up, you'll be back. Side benefit is it's all fresh and vegan so you don't end up sick every time you dine!”

“Set up for indoor seating (and outdoor seating during warmer weather). Fun menu of sweet and savory. Coffee, smoothies, teas, and crepes. I'm going to eat my way through the menu (at some point).”

“I desperately want this place to succeed. The flavors are bold, rich and spicy, similar to creole (naturally) and spicy is indeed spicy. Everyone loved the food! The bar and food menus are limited, however, and very overpriced. Tilapia should NEVER cost $35 no matter how it's served! Service is inexperienced, but willing to help and the atmosphere is colorful and cool. An experienced restaurateur is very much needed. Moving to a smaller location might help bring down the cost/plate, which isn't justified by the small portions. I really hope the owners/managers listen to the reviews because the food/flavor successes are being overshadowed by managerial inexperience.”

“I found this restaurant while I was strolling through google and decided to give it a try. I walked in and fell in love with the atmosphere. I asked what was good on the menu and they recommended the Fritada and it was phenomenal, absolutely delicious. The vibe, food and service was amazing. I highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant cause you won’t regret it.”

“We usually go to Honey Pig or So but in MD just honey pig. This place had tender and delicious meat worth the price. For two people we ordered only two meats. I didn't even need dipping sauce sometimes. Side dishes were plentiful and good. Soybean soup was surprisingly spicy but we like spicy. Come and try it out! I agree with little lights review in that it's borderline too dark. But... I love that the music isn't super loud. One of the main reasons I don't go to Iron age.”

“Má là is the signature flavor of the famed Sichuan cuisine of China. Ma is this numbingly stimulating sensation created by the Sichuan peppercorn while la is the more familiar spicy flavor that chili peppers give you. This canteen has some of the most authentic má là tastes to offer. Highly recommend!”
