Delighted to stumble on this excellent and authentic Mexican restaurant somewhat incongruously tucked into a victorian mansion on 6A. The portions were generous and very reasonably priced. The seafood paella was the best Ive had in a long time—see the pic. We also had fajitas and a diablo salad and all were delicious. Plus the portions were large enough to enjoy leftovers the next day. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. He ordered the steak tacos and I ordered the beef tacos. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the portions were a good size. We were seated right away without reservations. The service was friendly and attentive. It was also very reasonably priced for a restaurant in Cape Cod.
They have a lot of great things going, but they need some work.
Food and drinks were incredible. We all enjoyed our dishes tremendously and the prices were fair.
We were seated right away, and carded right when we sat down, but then waited 25-30 minutes to get our drinks. We got chips and a tiny tiny bit of watery salsa.
Didn’t have napkins or silverware until we asked, long after the food came out. The wait staff didn’t check on us enough so we couldn’t order another drink, or ask for utensils etc. there was no music playing and lack of decor in the room.
The owners were vivacious and went around to get to know his customers having conversations // celebrating with them - loved that.
Over all, I’ll come back again because I loved the food and the owner, but maybe in a few months when they have a better rhythm going. I think they would benefit from a restaurant manager.
Service was attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. We shared a lobster taco that had big chunks of lobster in it. Main meal was beef burrito and beef chimichanga—both delicious. We will definitely be back!
We had been waiting a bit after they opened to let them get the kinks out. Stopped in for dinner last night and Josh, the bartender suggested seating in the bar area.
Staff was very attentive and friendly. My wife ordered the chicken chimichangas and I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The wait time wasn't bad. My dinner came with refried beans and Spanish rice, which were very good. I thought my overall dinner was good.
The chimichangas that were my wife's order were huge. My wife didn't think there was much taste and was not impressed. She did say her margarita Josh made was excellent.
Overall, we have had better Mexican, but we will give them another try. We won't sit at a bar table for dinner next time. The tables are too small for dining, but would be fine for just drinks.
