“Used to go here with some regularity back in the 90s when I lived in the area. Recently went back for the first time in 20 years. Everything was as good as I remember. The cooking is top notch, homestyle Mediterranean (Italian & Greek), pizza and seafood. I decided to revisit a dish I've had countless times - Pat Kelley's Fish and Chips. It was flawless. The fries were typical frozen spuds of the classic variety but the fish was two hand-sized fillets wrapped in a crisp yet delicate batter. It was everything I remember. I only wish they had malt vinegar. The servers were friendly and helpful and, while the restaurant was clean, neat and tidy, the decor seemed a bit tired - probably since nothing has changed since I began going there thirty years ago. That's my only constructive criticism. Still, don't let that stop you from visiting. This place is still as good as it ever was!”

“Would mostly recommend. Was visiting my beautiful girlfriend during the Autumn of 2016 and had some of the tastiest, healthiest food I've had in a while. (Though tbf the latter category is kind of small) I got some weird looks from the North Face-wearing crowd, and there wasn't any Dr. Pepper (east coast -___-), but overall it was pleasant. Last thing I saw and heard leaving Mission was a kid from a local elementary running up to the fried food sections yelling "this place is awesome!" Yes it was dude.”

“great lunch buffet! They have great vegan options, and it's a very popular place, the atmosphere is very lively and friendly. This can make it difficult to get through the buffet, but that is a problem i can live with.”

“We split three appetizers; extreme nachos, classic wings, and cheese fries. We brought half of it home. So much food and so good! The weather is nice so there was outdoor seating and they had the doors/windows open. It was a Sunday afternoon lunch and so relaxing. We will be back!”

“Of all the dining halls on campus, I would have to rank this one as the second best. They have a cozy atmosphere and a pretty varied selection of tasty foods. Their selection for vegans is quite good as well. They always have a well- stocked salad bar with a few prepared salads (although I don't really like any of these since they were usually too oily) and many raw beans and veggies (the edamame are a special favorite of mine). Though I like this place overall, I still generally prefer Mission Dining Hall since the latter has a better selection of vegan foods and is in a better location.”

“Others on yelp etc have said this isn't authentic Mexican. I didn't care, let's call it a "Really adventurous Latin dining experience" Every thing was good and the seating was quick. Margarita is their thing and I enjoyed it. My friend said why should I pay good money to make my own food, but loved the soft taco bar thing. I loved my purple corn tortillas but the other was definitely more food.”

“It wasn't so good. I ordered the cowboy steak, 16 oz bone in ribeye. The steak was over seasoned and too salty. The taste of the meat was pretty good and it was cooked like I ordered. However, the texture was a little tough and the connective tissue was hard to chew through. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were powdered with garlic added to doctor up the flavor. Vegetables seemed like they might have been frozen. The meal was priced over $25, so I expected real mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. The table we sat at was really sticky over the entire surface, like it had been repeatedly wiped down, but never really cleaned with soap, clean water and elbow grease. Server was attentive but she came off as disingenuous. This is a bar with food, not a restaurant with a bar.”

“Finest dinner experience in Massachusetts! My brother had the chicken cordon blue, and his wife had spaghetti and meat sauce. I had the Berkshire burger and fries. And then the pecan pie with ice cream. All had incredible flavor, and served with expertise by Laura our fantastic/delightful/friendly/professional waitress”

“My wife and I had breakfast here on a Thursday morning in April 2019. We are senior citizens and tourists visiting the Berkshires for the first time. We enjoyed the breakfast. It's a cute, homey little restaurant and the waitress provided good, friendly service. We ordered a western omelette, which was fine except for the toast, and a breakfast sandwich on kaiser roll, which was superb. The kaiser roll was toasted perfectly and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had. Regarding the toast that came with the omelette: the extra-thick bread slices were okay, but the chef was too generous with the butter, and the butter itself was not good (the butter had a thick, odd appearance, was off-color, and appeared fake or just weird). We overheard another diner asking for toast with no butter, and we were unsure if the reason was the same as I am saying. Despite this one negative with our meal, Renee's is a good place. Recommended.”
