“My daughter and I were in Gloucester for a day at the beach and happened upon this place. We were so glad we did! After a horrible experience in another restaurant in town, we were thrilled to be greeted, seated and served in a remarkably short period of time. The restaurant is spotless and modern and the food was delicious. My daughter had the American burger with fries; it was huge and was very tasty. I had the eggplant lasagna and it was the best I've ever had. Our server (sadly did not get her name; she was a tall, young lady with curly blonde hair.) was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We don't have to search for a place to eat anymore when we go to the beach. We will make a beeline for the Azorean.”

“We saw this place and decided to try it. The pizza that we ordered was the best pizza we ever had. The staff that worked there (two young guys and young girl) was very polite, friendly and helpful. We were extremely pleased with the place and definitely will go there next time we’ll go to Gloucester (too bad it does not an AC). Other than that – it is great.”

“My name is Tiger Berard, I am also a second generation small business owner, "Pete's Otto Shop". I have been friends of this family for years. I am amazed that anyone would possibly accuse this family of being prejudiced towards anyone. I will say that these people are "Top notch" . If they, their food and their honesty does not meet your standards, then I do not know who could. If you visit Gloucester you must do yourself a favor and eat here. I give then 5 stars!!!!!!!!”

“We had breakfast here and I must say it was one of the best in a long time. My wife had the most incredible Crab Cake Benedict while I went simple with Buttermilk Pancakes and a side of Sausage Links, while the Crab Cake Benedict won the morning the pancakes were also top notch with really good Sausage. A great way to start the day.”

“This was our first trip to Cape Ann Lanes; we were looking for something fun to do on our vacation in Rockport. I called to inquire about renting a lane with bumpers for an hour and spoke to Steven. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and kid-friendly Cape Ann Lanes were. It was the first time bowling for both of my children and we had so much fun! Steven let us choose our lane and explained everything to us. He even came over a few minutes later to let us know that while the kitchen was not open at that time, there were snacks and beverages available for purchase if we wanted anything. He was so polite, friendly and helpful! The scoring system was so easy to use, the shoes we rented were comfortable and the place was very clean. Best of all it was a wonderful experience for our children. We have decided to make bowling at Cape Ann Lanes a new family tradition for our Rockport vacation every year!”

“Easy parking, good ambience, decent food and excellent service. We were a large party (9) and were a few minutes late for our reservation. We also had to get in and out quickly for a tour of Hammond Castle Museum. Our server was very accommodating- took our order quickly and put it right in. They had our food on the table in short order so that we could make it out on time. The food is decent- nothing to write home about but good enough to satisfy everyone. The outdoor tables are the place to be!”

“This place is so fun. Hubby got lobster roll & I got seafood risotto, both delicious. There was a ton of lobster, scallops & shrimp in the risotto, and the lobster roll was stuffed with yummy "lobsta". Tourists & locals all enjoying the funky ambiance & fantastic service.
