“This place is very good! Wonderful wait staff too, makes you feel like family, and the place is actually inside of a house, so it's nice. Feels homey. I only took away one star due to the prices. This was likely the most expensive Indian restaurant I've ever gone to, and they are all pretty expensive as it is. I love Indian food as I have a palate that loves very spicy food and it tastes delicious to me, but I would get it a lot more often if the price wasn't so high, not just here but at all Indian restaurants that I've been to.”

“Bela's is a great, locally owned vegetarian restaurant in downtown Northampton. The food is really good, and the wait staff is amazing. Food that is vegan, dairy free, and/or gluten free is clearly marked. Most of their ingredients are locally sourced. The restaurant is fairly small and extremely popular, so I recommend getting there earlier in the evening. Heavy fragrances are banned because the cook has allergies. This may bother some people, but I think it's awesome. They also have local art for sale hanging on the walls. This restaurant is cash only. Food: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Staff: 10/10”

“Overpriced, overrated. Baked goods are tasty but hardly the best in town. Bagels are tiny and a sandwich will run you $10. Said sandwich will then languish in the center of a vast empty plate leaving you feeling lonely and unsatisfied as well. The atmosphere is loud and crowded, and the tables are wobbly and dirty. Hardly conducive to a pleasant afternoon.”

“The food at the Yokohama Ramen restaurant is delicious and the service is outstanding. I’ve been back 4 times now and looking forward to going back again. I believe the broth used in the ramen soup is the secret to the delicious taste. The portions are fairly large and filling. My personal favorite is the soft boiled egg. I now order 2 additional eggs. The waitresses are very pleasant and attentive and the food is served very quickly. I’ve brought several friends there and they have all returned. Once you experience the delicious food and great service you will want to return. I would recommend the Yokohama restaurant to everyone.”

“Consistently good! The staff are very professional and knowledgeable which is impressive with the large number of wines they carry and rotate on a regular basis. I usually order the cheese plate in which you are able to choose from about fifteen different meats and cheeses. Not sure which ones? Just ask, they know about that too! The owner Caroline is very hands on and is the executive chef. In addition to the regular menu they will often offer a special entree and a suggested wine pairing. If you are looking for a comfortable unassuming place to go for an appetizer, dinner or a glass of wine this is it!”
