“Colorful ambience on the inside, feels like you're in Coco movie. The place is huge with outdoor seating with lake/River view. Love the food and drinks.. I keep going here often. There's 1 waiter who's too rushy like she's playing the Diner Dash game. It kinda felt like she wanted us to leave soon. Everything was served quickly, even the cheque, and was pushy to order soon. I like to take my own time to eat not that I'm a slow eater but I don't wanna just swallow food n run. it's a fun place to chill with friends. Don't rush us out. Peace!”

“It seems it is run by someone who has money ( the place looks expensive) but no skills in running a restaurant/lounge. Some items on (already short) menu were not available, the calamari was overcooked, the white wine was barely below the room temperature, the bartender was nice but seemed out of place. The whole place lacked the vibe. I won't come back.”

“We went here for our anniversary and were delighted. We usually go into the city for a good steak but we now know we can achieve this locally. The Federal is a great steakhouse conveniently located in Waltham shopping strip next to Market Basket. Parking is easy unlike the city. The restaurant is well maintained and upscale. Great bar and patio area, which is really great for summer evenings. The service was great. The food was terrific. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended for any occasion.”
