“Sarah came to my family home for a cooking class. From start to finish her work was exceptional. She came well prepared with everything we needed for the multi-course meal, and then immediately got to work familiarizing herself with the kitchen. The food was amazing and her instruction and teaching method was clear, inclusive, and applicable for future cooking (well beyond the single meal we were cooking). Once the food was prepared, my family sat and enjoyed our meal while Sarah cleaned up and left the kitchen in better condition then when she arrived. Overall, I and my family were incredibly impressed with Sarah, the quality of her food, and the overall experience. We will be recommending Sarah as a private chef (and cooking class for those interested) for many years to come.”

“I ordered dinner from Farfalle tonight. It was Chicken Milanese with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was easy to pick up and take home. It took only 15 minutes to heat up and I served it not just to myself and my husband but two my two picky children. They both started eating without a single complaint! I couldn't believe it! Each part of the dinner was more delicious than the next. We had our first family dinner in years without complaints and the best part is that I didn't have to cook it! “Delicious pizza! If you're looking for a Detroit style pizza (rectangular, deep, thick crust and seared cheese "edges" for lack of the correct terminology) - look no further! The owners, Andrea and Al & family, are true pizza artisans and it shows: quality ingredients, crust and edging perfected over countless hours in their test kitchen, the sauce is rich and will pull you back time and time again. I can vouch for the cheese, the pepperoni, and the spicy Hawaiian and all three variations were amazing! (The offer many more topping variations; I think the Chef Craig (?) Special is the next one I'll have to try Detroit-style.) And if you get the opportunity - give the Superlicious Cookies a try - these are thick, 4 or 5" (apologies if my memory is off) chocolate chip / chunk cookies that are moist inside / baked perfectly. Grab them if you can because they are quite popular!”

“Incredible food, one of the few authentic Indian places I have found in this city. Very much a hole in the wall hidden gem. Tasted like home cooked food - this just became my go-to spot for Indian. “Creative topping combinations but average pizza overall. Tried the El hefe pizza which had pulled pork, pickled onions, mango, and cilantro. First of all, their dough and the crust was average at best: it was definitely a thin crust, but not crunchy as it should be. Their toppings on the other hand were amazing (except for the cilantro part): pulled pork was great and it was similar to having a pulled pork sandwich with pickled onions. However, it would’ve been nice if they added those toppings in greater quantity as some parts ended up being boring. The biggest letdown for me was the cheese or its lack thereof: I could barely taste any mozzarella and the cheese layer was barely visible on the pizza.”

“Delicious food at a reasonable price in an unpretentious place. You naturally should get one of the boils bags which is their specialty and not something commonly found on local seafood menus. Our order came out quickly and we were delighted. Plenty of shellfish options but we focused on crab. We did add shrimp, though, when we saw how large they were. We went with the garlic butter sauce and asked for mild spicy as we didn't want too much spice to overwhelm the natural flavors. It was the right choice.”
