“Great bakery with a selection of Asian influenced mini cakes! Loved the strawberry shortcake, the cake was moist, cream was very smooth, strawberries were fresh, the combo’s not overly sweet, would def order again! On the other hand, didn’t enjoy the matcha red bean one as much, the cake texture was more coarse, and there’s a savory taste that was a bit odd. Overall, the mini cake’s size is on the small side, with approx. $8 per piece, it’s slightly overpriced. However, the price for drinks were quite reasonable for Boston area, enjoyed my ice americano!”

“I feel very lucky to live near such a cozy coffee shop! Bloc is unique because it used to be a bank back in the day. You can even sit in a few areas that used to be vault rooms. The coffee is always wonderful and the staff are kind. They also have smoothies and seasonal drinks like cider if you aren’t a coffee lover. Their patio space is by far one of the best in Somerville.”

“It’s the perfect mix of a brewery and coffee shop. They marry both things well. Nice chill vibe. Good beer. Good coffee. It is in the middle of bow market which is a vibe on its own. Fun place to be! They also had decaf coffee!”

“Very friendly staff at this location, they can also take physical orders so it’s not just pick up via the app. I got a modified baby yoda drink: brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso topped with matcha cold foam 🍵 They mistakenly gave me hazelnut, but I’ll let it slide because it was still quite yummy :)”

“One of the worst days of my life and starting think people are just evil I went into this store and the employee (Michele)was genuinely one of the most nicest person I’ve met in a long time she actually made it worth going thru what I went thru to prove these kind of people is still around! She is a gem! This store is lucky to have her!”

“Great little cafe that is still open during the construction of the building. I had the zero to hero bagel sandwich (only vegan breakfast sandwich) and my husband has the Jimmy pesto breakfast sandwich. They were both pretty good. There’s also a couple of vegan pastries, too. Also, my latte was delicious!”

“Visited recently by fluke.. Fell in love with the place the moment I stepped in the store. Everything looked fresh, friendly courteous staff. Prices reasonable. Lots of delicious sweet treat. Got two sugar cane juice, delicious. Meats looked fresh. I live in Boston. I’m willing to make the drive to get groceries.”

“Food was excellent. My breakfast sandwich was delicious and just right in size. The pastries were a gift but I have tried everything you see in the picture at one point or another. All delicious. Very busy location, meter parking can be limited on the street but there is usually parking somewhere close by. My preference is to take out as it's always so busy there I don't think I would have a peaceful meal but in all fairness I have never given it a shot. Not very inviting to stay and eat but I still highly recommend this place, they have many locations throughout Boston.”

“Softest scones I have every had. Sandwiches come with either brioche or biscuit, you must try biscuit. Its not what you think it is, its softer than regular breads in other places. Espresso lovers will appreciate this place also.”

“Let's keep it real. I've been here at least three times. If you order coffee make sure it's on demand. I received lukewarm coffee from a carafe. The latte is fine if you're in no rush. Service can be slow. Do they have a window washer yet? I've noticed a need for one. The dessert case is compelling. The tables and chairs are nice. Prices are a bit stiff. Service was friendly.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Vita Dolce Bakery, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. From the warm greetings at the door to the attentive service throughout my visit, I was thoroughly impressed. The highlight, of course, is the delicious food they offer. Every item I tried was not just good but exceptional. The pastries were freshly baked, perfectly flaky, and filled with delicious flavors. The cakes were a work of art, both in presentation and taste. It's evident that the chefs/bakers here take great pride in their craft, as each bite was a burst of heavenly flavors. What sets La Vita Dolce Bakery apart is not just the quality of their food but the passion and dedication of their staff. They are knowledgeable about their products and eager to help you find the perfect treat for any occasion. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee and pastry or ordering a custom cake for a special event, you can trust that you'll be met with professionalism and a genuine love for what they do. Overall, I highly recommend La Vita Dolce Bakery to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience. The combination of amazing staff and delicious food makes it a standout gem in the area. “Sandwich was good-got the Peace Love and Happiness. Pour over coffee was decent, but I guess I expected a "smoother" drink. Loss of stars is because I ordered online. They automatically add a 15% tip without making that apparent-you have to check the itemized receipt at the bottom of the page. Any company that sticks their hand in my pocket without asking is not getting repeat business.”

“Just popped in for a quick bite and caffeine fix. The 2 staff behind the desk were very helpful in choosing the perfect options for drinks. My daughter got a caffeine free blue matcha drink and loves it and my brown sugar latte is incredible. The vibe there is everything with a little table with free books, fresh plants and hand made pottery. Love it, will be returning for sure!”

“This place is the definition of a HIDDEN GEM. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab a quick bite after the gym and we came across El Bunker on Google. When we walked in we were greeted by Camilla who is the sweetest! She was making Pão de Quiejo and they were AMAZING. (even better than fogo de chao in my opinion) We both got the Cuban sandwich which was so yummy. The bread was toasted and the garlic sauce really made the sandwich. I also got the guava shake and it was delicious and my boyfriend got a coffee with condensed milk which he loved. This place deserves more recognition for the quality of food and service they provide. Definitely will be visiting more!”

“I ordered dinner from Farfalle tonight. It was Chicken Milanese with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was easy to pick up and take home. It took only 15 minutes to heat up and I served it not just to myself and my husband but two my two picky children. They both started eating without a single complaint! I couldn't believe it! Each part of the dinner was more delicious than the next. We had our first family dinner in years without complaints and the best part is that I didn't have to cook it! Thank you for your incredible food! You are helping so many busy working families out there!”

“New boba stop in town and since my kids are milk tea/boba addicts of course we had to try this place out. Considering a shop that serves drinks only its pretty big and spacious. They had lots of drinks selections and even though they did, still not of my favorite (honeydew). Got a jasmine milk tea which tastes like any other but the bobas gotta be the freshest most softest ever in Lowell! We got a large for 7 something and it was huge. We'll definitely be back!”

“Had a coffee desert and a quiche. Coffee was great and fairly priced, same with desert. The quiche was $11, thou! For one tiny slice! Definitely shouldn't cost that much. Cashier was a little cold, but they had just opened, so I'll give a pass. Atmosphere is great, I loved the decor. Checkout the art space in the rest of the space its some fun urban exploration.”

“Evergreen Room This restaurant draws a very specific crowd that happens to be my Jam! I have been there 3x and will hopefully be going again this afternoon. *Check out their open hours before going, as they seem to change with the season. I love it here, the aesthetic , the food and drinks, the wonderful staff! Totally my type of place. There’s just something about this place that makes me feel calm and makes me want to come back. All the snacks, deserts and drinks are a little different. Like goat cheese custard with cherries, mystery intention mimosas, teas with fun names (try the ice Twilight tea, it’s kinda of blue and delicious) and home grown herbs, and a stay gold drink (kind of like their mojito) that turns your tongue gold, and their Unknown drink that is AMAZING (really it’s my favorite)! Expect teas and alcoholic drinks with flowers in them, expect food to not taste as you are used to it, and everything is amazing. Everything is local and sustainably sourced, and priced accordingly, I believe you can get snacks and regular tea to go, but don’t quote me on that. If your taste buds resemble a toddlers I do not recommend this to you, but if you like something different, if you like fun drinks, teas, and snacks, or if your a modern day healer I totally recommend; this may also be a fun spot to take your girlfriends for that mystery intention mimosa during a girls night, I find the men I have taken here do not love it as much as my girlfriends and I do. Oh and if you like plant stuff, herbs, tinctures, fun jewelry check out the apothecary next door I’m pretty sure they are owned by the same person!”

“This is an amazing place to have a nice breakfast, hang out with friends or go alone and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. There is a lot yo choose from. Their Quiches are desliscious. Be careful with the veggie one, has goat cheese and for some people the flavor migth be to strong.”
