“Great bakery with a selection of Asian influenced mini cakes! Loved the strawberry shortcake, the cake was moist, cream was very smooth, strawberries were fresh, the combo’s not overly sweet, would def order again! On the other hand, didn’t enjoy the matcha red bean one as much, the cake texture was more coarse, and there’s a savory taste that was a bit odd. Overall, the mini cake’s size is on the small side, with approx. $8 per piece, it’s slightly overpriced. However, the price for drinks were quite reasonable for Boston area, enjoyed my ice americano!”

“I feel very lucky to live near such a cozy coffee shop! Bloc is unique because it used to be a bank back in the day. You can even sit in a few areas that used to be vault rooms. The coffee is always wonderful and the staff are kind. They also have smoothies and seasonal drinks like cider if you aren’t a coffee lover. Their patio space is by far one of the best in Somerville.”

“I came here because I’m in the mood for dessert. Now, an Indian restaurant is not where one would get an Italian dessert. However, the Tiramisu I ordered was close to the best I have tasted in my life. It was moist, not too sweet, not too creamy… in short, a wholly unexpected surprise!”

“Food was excellent. My breakfast sandwich was delicious and just right in size. The pastries were a gift but I have tried everything you see in the picture at one point or another. All delicious. Very busy location, meter parking can be limited on the street but there is usually parking somewhere close by. My preference is to take out as it's always so busy there I don't think I would have a peaceful meal but in all fairness I have never given it a shot. Not very inviting to stay and eat but I still highly recommend this place, they have many locations throughout Boston.”

“Softest scones I have every had. Sandwiches come with either brioche or biscuit, you must try biscuit. Its not what you think it is, its softer than regular breads in other places. Espresso lovers will appreciate this place also.”

“Let's keep it real. I've been here at least three times. If you order coffee make sure it's on demand. I received lukewarm coffee from a carafe. The latte is fine if you're in no rush. Service can be slow. Do they have a window washer yet? I've noticed a need for one. The dessert case is compelling. The tables and chairs are nice. Prices are a bit stiff. Service was friendly.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Vita Dolce Bakery, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. From the warm greetings at the door to the attentive service throughout my visit, I was thoroughly impressed. The highlight, of course, is the delicious food they offer. Every item I tried was not just good but exceptional. The pastries were freshly baked, perfectly flaky, and filled with delicious flavors. The cakes were a work of art, both in presentation and taste. It's evident that the chefs/bakers here take great pride in their craft, as each bite was a burst of heavenly flavors. What sets La Vita Dolce Bakery apart is not just the quality of their food but the passion and dedication of their staff. They are knowledgeable about their products and eager to help you find the perfect treat for any occasion. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee and pastry or ordering a custom cake for a special event, you can trust that you'll be met with professionalism and a genuine love for what they do. Overall, I highly recommend La Vita Dolce Bakery to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience. The combination of amazing staff and delicious food makes it a standout gem in the area. I can't wait for my next visit to indulge in more of their delectable offerings!”

“I never tried but I can see the photos and read the description it's upscale quality. if you opened a storefront location in downtown Natick It can draw in business. I have been in different bake shops in new England they often draw in local business. the one in greenfield is the same idea and customers keep coming back. Artisan means high quality.”

“I ordered dinner from Farfalle tonight. It was Chicken Milanese with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was easy to pick up and take home. It took only 15 minutes to heat up and I served it not just to myself and my husband but two my two picky children. They both started eating without a single complaint! I couldn't believe it! Each part of the dinner was more delicious than the next. We had our first family dinner in years without complaints and the best part is that I didn't have to cook it! Thank you for your incredible food! You are helping so many busy working families out there!”

“Lovely local cafe. Went in for a cup of coffee and ended up getting the empanadas - spinach and cheese and guava and cheese. Both were delicious. The coffee was great and I will definitely be back.”

“Had a coffee desert and a quiche. Coffee was great and fairly priced, same with desert. The quiche was $11, thou! For one tiny slice! Definitely shouldn't cost that much. Cashier was a little cold, but they had just opened, so I'll give a pass. Atmosphere is great, I loved the decor. Checkout the art space in the rest of the space its some fun urban exploration.”

“Nice little cozy Brazilian food. Service is warm, owners are great people. Do suppose you local family owned and operated Busines.”

“This is an amazing place to have a nice breakfast, hang out with friends or go alone and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. There is a lot yo choose from. Their Quiches are desliscious. Be careful with the veggie one, has goat cheese and for some people the flavor migth be to strong.”

“Lots of room & natural light! Friendly staffs. I love this place but will have to say the coffee is not consistent, I had flat white with almond milk but it was very sour and I couldn't finish it (which is rare for a coffeeholic like me). But will still visit in the future for the pastries especially scones.”

“This place is an absolute gem. This is the type of place where locals go as part of their morning routine. I recently visited to try their donuts, and they were one of the best I had in Boston. These old school donuts were quite similar to Kane’s donuts, but much better in quality. They were extremely fluffy and airy on the inside, and the frostings and the cream had the perfect level of sweetness. Highly recommend trying them out, but make sure to bring cash and go early as possible as the donuts get sold out pretty quick.”

“They are super nice! Got a donut from the house for free because they were closing. Nice vibes nice people! But most importantly, the bagel is super tasty! Fresh dense dough and loaded with cream cheese. Simple yet memorable. Will definitely come back!”

“Really good bakery with vegan options. We really enjoyed the apple fritters (only available Sunday after 10 am) so much that we forgot to take a picture of it! They also had an interesting pop tart and a vegan lemon raspberry olive oil cake. There's no seating whatsoever. However, there are a couple benches outside, and you can walk to Arlington Center for benches/chairs to sit. Parking could also be slightly challenging since you only really have Mass Ave street parking.”

“Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Came early morning just before 9am (and during a snow storm) and there was only 1 person in front of me. Got the classic jumbo on an everything bagel (upgrade to a simple breakfast sandwich), hot smoked salmon on an everything bagel and a wheat bagel with honey rosemary cream cheese (this was delicious). Will be back to try the other bagels and the scallion cream cheese.”

“One of Belmont’s long time gems. Everyone loves donuts and Linda’s is one of the best places to go for them. Old school place with a strong local following and some wicked good donuts. If donuts were healthier I’d be here all the time but for now it’s just a special occasion thing.”

“This fun drinking, dining and donut restaurant has the vibe of an upscale New York diner. They opened today and a friend and I were intrigued and went in. So glad we were walking by. We didn’t have a whole meal, but the iced tea with fresh lemon was delicious and washed down a fabulous donut. They have breakfast served all day and a lunch/brunch/burger menu plus adult beverages served up by the warmest, friendliest staff I’ve experienced. We will be back soon to start working our way through the entire menu!”

“Much props to the people at Bagels Plus. I went on a Saturday morning with 15-20 people in line with a group of 5 remembering orders by heart and it reminded me of the old-school, cash-only joints that felt like home. This was a great first impression after a roaring recommendation from one of my coworkers. Great food, fresh ingredients, and reasonable pricing all with competent and polite workers gave me a great start to my Saturday. Thank you guys, I’ll see you next week.”

“Better than Dunk's by a mile. Superior ingredients, happier team members, but I wish they had more stores. I sadly don't really have any close by... I do go there when I occasionally have the choice though”

“One of the few places that actually sells decaff iced coffee. Tasty sandwiches and avocado toast. I bought my husband a chocolate chip cookie the size of my head (so thankfully I got a bite too… and it was perfection).”

“I stopped in the ‘new place’ in Cushing Square last week -- the OvenBird Café -- for one of their prepared dishes– and glad I did – it was delicious – and I was back this week. Also, I can’t say enough about the service provided by Jason and his staff – very attentive to customer requests. If you care about supporting local business and enjoying freshly prepared food – I highly recommend visiting the OvenBird Café.”

“Great tasting Portuguese food that feels home made. This place is great! They make their own bread and fruit jam. Delicious pear dessert. Enjoyed the Portuguese style plate with shrimp/fish. They serve breakfast and lunch. Servers were friendly and welcoming.”

“SO glad to have Cafe Beatrice in the neighborhood. Their coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and creative pastries are the best in the area- by far. The salads and sandwiches are always great as well. My husband and I are here several times a week, and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. You won't regret it!”

“Big open space makes this location cooler than other Tatte locations. The food and beverages are always done well here. Turkey pita sandwich was delicious, though a little heavy on the creamy sauce. My partner loves the matcha lattes at tatte”
