This place was suggested by a friend. It was very good. Love the tofu soup with mushroom. We ordered extra spicy and it was just right.
Outstanding place for delicious Korean cuisine! I had the spicy pork clay pot and it was fantastic! Highly recommend trying this place out if you’re in the neighborhood!
The original start location of spicy tofu soup of Kaju is this spot! This is my go to location for spicy tofu soup. I love the seafood spicy tofu soup. If I’m feeling a bit more hungry or want to add more to my meal, I’d get the combination of spicy tofu soup with a meat entree (grilled meat). If you’re concerned about spicy level, you can pick not spicy to very spicy— so everyone can enjoy the tofu soup. The most amount of tofu that I eat is definitely whenever I enjoy this meal. Galbi (short ribs) and Pork belly are my top two favorite entrees. Everything is pretty good there. Can’t go wrong!
Service was good. The food was okay. I like their fried beef dumplings. If they have shrimp inside even better. I also had Kaju Galbi. It was alright, just a bit salty. Maybe next time, I might try some other foods.
This is the most holistically authentic Korean place I've ever been to in Boston, and I've been to a few. I spent ~3 months in Korea and ate out a lot, so I have some idea, for a non-Korean, of what authentic Korean food is like.
Meals come with 3 free side dishes, as one would get in Korea.
The portions are generous. The food is good. And if, like me, you are nostalgic about Korea, this is a great place to go and feel like you're there. :)
