“Came here on a sunny and quiet Sunday morning. First time here. I ordered a 4cheese bagel with chive cream cheese and french toast coffee. IT WAS DELISH! This place is so awesome! Lots of space and seating with outlets. This surely beats any of those large chain coffee shops. This is my new spot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏼👍🏼😀”

“Genuinely the best buttery breakfast sandwich I had while in that area! I would love for this place to have more business it’s deserved. Even the latte I got was gorgeous. It was the perfect amount of sweet and the beans weren’t burnt in anyway! The girls that worked there were very nice. Genuinely one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to.”

“I’ve been going to The Baker since I moved to New Bedford in 2019. It’s one of my favorite places to pick up a treat for me and my husband. I’ve never had a bad experience there. All the staff are kind and some even know me by name (even when I’m wearing a mask)! I always look forward to seeing what they have because the staff and owner always create delicious food. It’s a shame that there are people who are so used to fast food turnaround that they can’t wait more than 15 minutes for food that is always made in-house and made to order. More for everyone else who has come to love and appreciate the hard work of the people who have built up this amazing European bakery then 🤷🏽♀️❤️ Also attaching photos of some of the goodies that we’ve had the chance to try and share with our loved ones who absolutely enjoyed each treat over the last couple of years. 🤤”

“The sweets are super good and the iced lattes are delicious. Their straws are the coolest I’ve seen!! A bonus is that it’s really close to the beach! Also their prices are super reasonable, we got all of this for $23!! I want to come back for their food, which also looks like a great deal.”

“My family loves it here. Great atmosphere and super friendly people! We try to get something new from the menu each time, and when we feel like we’ve found our go-to drink, we just keep finding a new fav one! Last time, it was their delicious avocado smoothie and this time it was the Oreo Earth drink for my daughter and the pumpkin cinnamon milk tea for me!👌🏽🤤”

“Would have given 5 stars if service was good and not slow. But best lobster roll on the Cape!! Huge claw and knuckle meat little mayo which I like and on a bakery brioche roll not a hot dog roll and generous portion. If you like Key Lime pie better than a restaurant. We bought it and froze some pieces for a treat another time since 2 of us could eat the pie but have to watch those calories. What I did not like was on the website says their own fresh guacamole and tortilla chips. They do have homemade potato chips which would be good if so much salt wasn’t added but no tortilla chips and when my husband asked for their own guacamole the lady said a brand I have purchased at Stop and Shop with the company’s label on it was their home made.,That is what I mean about service. Some don’t care on top of being slow and disorganized.”

“The food here is hella good and a great value. There are a lot of options from breakfast sandwiches to wraps and salads. All the pastries are superb. The bread is awesome and the food is fresh. The coffee and tea are of great quality. It is also a good spot to come and get a little work done.”

“To wait 30 mins in line is crazy. They have 2 people working on a Friday afternoon before Christmas. The lady at the register is amazing and doing 3 jobs while an unpleasant lady gets the pasties. I wouldn’t recommend to eat here during the enchanted visit. However the cheese pizza was pretty good.”

“Lots of room & natural light! Friendly staffs. I love this place but will have to say the coffee is not consistent, I had flat white with almond milk but it was very sour and I couldn't finish it (which is rare for a coffeeholic like me). But will still visit in the future for the pastries especially scones.”

“This place is an absolute gem. This is the type of place where locals go as part of their morning routine. I recently visited to try their donuts, and they were one of the best I had in Boston. These old school donuts were quite similar to Kane’s donuts, but much better in quality. They were extremely fluffy and airy on the inside, and the frostings and the cream had the perfect level of sweetness. Highly recommend trying them out, but make sure to bring cash and go early as possible as the donuts get sold out pretty quick.”

“They are super nice! Got a donut from the house for free because they were closing. Nice vibes nice people! But most importantly, the bagel is super tasty! Fresh dense dough and loaded with cream cheese. Simple yet memorable. Will definitely come back!”

“Really good bakery with vegan options. We really enjoyed the apple fritters (only available Sunday after 10 am) so much that we forgot to take a picture of it! They also had an interesting pop tart and a vegan lemon raspberry olive oil cake. There's no seating whatsoever. However, there are a couple benches outside, and you can walk to Arlington Center for benches/chairs to sit. Parking could also be slightly challenging since you only really have Mass Ave street parking.”

“Found this place by chance and placed my first order; as a strict vegetarian for many years now it can be hard to find sweet treats that meet my expectations. This place did that and more! Super friendly and Mike seems like he really cares. Me and my mom will be ordering again :)”

“Nice coffee shop. Good selection of beverages, hot and cold. Fresh biscotti. I Had the blueberry scone and a maple spice latte. Hardly anyone offers a maple flavoring, so they get points from me! the stone was fresh with a nice crunchy crust. my only complaint might be they need to clean and freshen up the bathroom. It's dusty and the paint needs to be redone. but it's a great place and I will definitely be back!”

“Amazing tasty bagels! We had a sesame seed bagel toasted with butter that was simply delicious as well as sesame with garlic and chive cream cheese that was great too. Many other breakfast items on the menu. This place is busy and in the summer often a line up outside but it moves quickly.”

“A quaint little place in town to get bagels. People are nice but the place looks a little falling apart. Summer teenagers are sweet. Unfortunately these are not great bagels, they’re decent bread in a circle shape but not bagels - but then again it’s hard to get good bagels outside of NYC. Their website was not updated and I went looking for the great flavors I saw on it but was sad when they said they haven’t had those flavors in awhile. All they had was the typical, which was ok and tasty, just not the right bagel texture I look for. No Apple Pay but credit card accepted. Big area inside to sit and lots of coffee flavors.”

“Beautiful and delicious French pastry. Wonderful assortment of pastries, sandwiches and coffees/espresso drinks. The bread was delicious too! Definitely try this yummy place! Apple Pay accepted. Seating inside not open when I was there.”

“I usually go to the Plymouth location, but this one’s faster and the portion size is better. Nice people working at the counter. It’s pricey for bagel sandwiches but totally worth it. I get a sandwich with smoked salmon and a raspberry mocha and it’s always good.”

“Really, really love this Jaho location. The interior is so beautifully done, and I love the plants all around! The food was definitely amazing, and of course the coffee too! They had just finished making some Everything bagels (my favorite kind) and it was nothing short of EVERYTHING. Can’t express enough how much I love Jaho’s home baked goods! Really beautiful job, Jaho. Definitely will be back!”

“we LOVE donut king. 4 stars only because the place is kind of chaotic when it's busy and I would love to see this place get a face lift. however the staff is patient and kind. there is a parking lot. the donuts are top notch and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. coconut honey dip is my favorite flavor. I'm not a coffee drinker but according to my friend who is, it's great coffee. definitely a little gem!”

“If you ever visit Martha’s Vineyard, I definitely suggest visiting the famous Black Dog Cafe. I wasn’t a fan of the wings but the lobster roll, crab cakes and calamari was good. The highlight was definitely the cocktails and the cute mason jars. In terms of decor and ambiance , the space feels homely and cozy with a gorgeous patio. I would definitely recommend coming here for a chill date or afternoon outing with friends or family. The staff was friendly and the wait time was short.”

“This was my first time visiting since they switched ownership. I got a Greek salad with chicken and fries. The fries are the best fries I've ever had. I'm a fry lover so I've had many fries in many cities and countries. It's like they fried them but also toasted them? Not sure how they make them but they are delicious. The Greek salad was fresh, delicious, chicken was well cooked and seasoned. Will definitely go back to try other items and to get more fries”
