    1st day cash only, did not have any. 2nd day we have cash but now they're out of food. Day 3 got food. Its decent, but not spectacular. For the prices though doesn't matter, tons of food for the price. If you want to pay 3x the price for something that tastes slightly better go elsewhere. Otherwise have cash and hope they're not out of food.

    This woman makes the best comfort food anywhere.
    Flavor flavor flavor.
    I wish she would charge more because I can't see how they can stay open for how much food you get for so little money.

    Comfort food @ a comfortable price. $5 two sides & meat- am I in the south cuz y'all are making me miss my sister & her cooking down in Alabama! Plan to try the $10 ribs on our next visit. Lori was great. Thank you ????

    Stopped here while on vacation to have a local meal. Surprisingly excellent! Awesome portions of home-made food and only 5 bucks! My son got the ribs, cost 10, but well worth it! Tropical coleslaw and Garlic mashed potatoes are to die for! Just don't plan on eating inside due to the fact it is very hot in there! Only one table for two outside. We just took ours back to Elk Rapids park and ate at one of the many picnic tables the park had to offer.

    THE FOOD IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! Y'all I haven't had food this good since my Grandma passed!! The meatloaf is wonderful, the potatoes and greens were bomb and the sweet potatoes took me HOME!!! This place is a foodies dream, hidden in Elk Rapids. Do your taste buds a favor and stop in! Did I mention that she only charges $5 for a to go box!! And the portions are a good size!!
