I came in here a couple of summers ago for breakfast. The prices were very reasonable for what you got.

The atmosphere was pretty cool too. You can tell that the building is somewhat old.

The waitress was very helpful too, as we were looking for a store that had bug spay because the flies were so bad while camping.

Overall, this was a great experience. They are one of the only restaurants in the area, so if you are looking to get a bite to eat somewhere around De Tour, Mainsail might be your only option.

Desi is the best! Her homemade soups, cream of mushroom, cream of asparagus and French onion are out if this world! Her burritos are awesome as well. If you're looking for good food in a quaint little harbor town, don't look any further than the Mainsail!

Service was friendly and fast, and the food was perfect.

The menu focuses on classic items but the execution is incredible. My Reuben Burger was cooked to order on crispy Rye perfectly melted Swiss and a taste of sauerkraut.

The Fries were so crisp but then soft.

Experience made me feel like I had been transported to some vital first and best memory of what a small town restaurant should be. If Proust’s madeleines were Reuben burgers? That kind of perfection.

We went on the middle of the week in the early afternoon, so I don't feel like I can give it an accurate review. The bar itself was stocked nice, they had three beers on tap. Two were craft beers, so that was cool. The walls were covered in cool old stuff. The best thing was they have framed blueprints for the Edmund Fitzgerald, which was really cool!

All in all, it had a cool atmosphere and the food menu looked pretty good. They had vegetarian options which is huge for us. We will definitely be back
