“Loving Old Mission Distilling at Seven Hills!! Comfortable and inviting seating inside in the lounge area or at the bar with the lively and friendly staff. Outside has the most beautiful views of the surrounding nature to enjoy while sipping a cocktail in a rocking chair. I’ll definitely be coming here regularly!!”

“While visiting friends in Traverse City we stopped in to Mission Proper for a drink. I was instantly impressed with the exquisite decor, friendly staff, amazing coffee, beautiful outdoor seating area and everything in between. Our bartender, Vince, was fantastic. He was super attentive and answered all our questions about the menu and venue. I would go back in a heartbeat.”

Old Mission Inn

Address: 18599 Mission Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686, USA

Restaurant

“We stayed here for 2 days several weeks ago and would love to have stayed longer! Angie, Bruce, and Tyler really do a great job making you feel more like friends than customers! They have done amazing restoration of this historic inn and incredible research on its history and that of the neighboring community. Breakfasts were made to order, and the dining area was a great place to get to know the hosts and other guests. A great front porch to relax on and enjoy views of the harbor and East Bay, a collection of hammocks under ancient shade trees, and a bonfire area that was another great spot to enjoy others' company. Great job! Can't wait to return!”

Old Mission Tavern

Address: 17015 Center Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686, USA

Restaurant

“Beautiful decor. Great service. Good prices. Don't eat anywhere else on the peninsula. We arrived midafternoon on a Friday in early October. We split a half pound cheeseburger off their smaller happy hour menu. It was perfectly cooked and plenty for two. There is a gorgeous art studio there too. Definitely go there!”

Boathouse Restaurant

“Thank you for making our Anniversary so very special. The service and food was unforgettable. This place is wonderful and can't wait till we come back to Traverse City. ❤”

Peninsula Grill

Address: 14091 Center Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686, USA

Restaurant

“Love the hanger steak. Our first meal here was absolutely fabulous, celebrating our anniversary. Not from being around the area, decided to try it. 8 years later wanted to revisit this place, and our memory of a amazing meal-this time not as good. No more hanger steak, waitress said out of season so ordered a NY strip. Steak was very fatty without a lot of flavor. We sent it back and ordered white fish, this was good. Love the decor and atmosphere. We will be back at some point, hoping to revisit our first memory again.”

Mission Table

Address: 13512 Peninsula Dr #9717, Traverse City, MI 49686, USA

Restaurant

“An extraordinary meal! Shaun, our server was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. All parts of the meal were wonderful. Home cooked, hearty, delicious, and not pretentious. And the view and setting are second to none. This will be my first and last stops on future vacations to traverse city!”

Jolly Pumpkin Restaurant & Brewery

Address: 13512 Peninsula Dr, Traverse City, MI 49686, USA

Restaurant

“The most important thing I wish was in other reviews...this place is NOT on the water! It is behind another restaurant. There is a beautiful forest view, but we came here specifically because we saw pictures of a bay view. Not false advertising on their part, but the map and pics made it look that way. When we asked if we could sit outside, we were told more than once that the outdoor area was fine dining while JP was more casual (I think this was their nice way of saying we didn't belong out there). The food was good. We LOVED the white pizza. My kids both liked their steak and fries. We were a little disappointed that there were no other cooked veggie options than squash for the kids. There is a brussel sprout salad on the menu, but they would not sub the squash with sprouts. My husband was not impressed by either IPA he had and he's an IPA nut. I liked my wheat bear. Overall, we would return but might dress better to try the outdoor restaurant.”
