Strip steak was tough and for $42 seems wrong. Nice place though. Nice layout and people. Big city feel in little town.

Outstanding food and service. Our server Andy suggested our appetizer, entree, sides, and dessert- he was spot on. You will find the preparation of the steak to equal that of the top NYC steak houses like The Palm, or Peter Luger's. Treat yourselves to a special evening in downtown TC - stop in and visit Slate (across the street from the State theater).

We did enjoy dinner here last night, but we each had our second choice as they were out of 6 of the main course options. Several of us got the main steaks and they were good but priced much higher than valued at.

Came here for dinner for my bachelor party. We made a reservation but there was still plenty of open seating despite it being Saturday night - which is surprising because the food was great! Eddie was our server and was informative and fun. I got the surf and turf and paired with a red wine as recommended by our server. The food is pricy but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

We went for my birthday and weren't disappointed. The steaks we're cooked perfectly and the flavors were fantastic. I highly recommend the surf and turf. There were four of us and with an appetizer and four entrees, the bill came to about $230. It's a little pricey but worth it for the steaks. Andrew was our waiter and he is great. Very knowledgeable and great service.
