Nick's Place

Visited Nick's Place the other day for lunch. We were entertaining friends from California and enjoyed the street view from our table. The food was fantastic and unique and my Californian friends were blown away. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, the owner, Nick, came out and spoke to us. He was very friendly and you could tell he was incredibly hands-on in the kitchen. Our waitress, Max, had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. After this experience, Nick's Place may very well end up being my new favorite restaurant. Kudos!

Delicious food, never disappointed. When you're there it feels like you really belong. An added bonus is that I always get the best seat in the house!

This is a real hidden gem in EL. The staff here is so welcoming sometimes it feels less like a restaurant and more like you're having dinner with a group of your close friends. Any time I’m in Lansing I’m sure to stop by Nick’s Place for some cold drinks and hot food!

Been here a few times, never left dissatisfied. Service is quick and friendly, they even provided coloring mats and crayons for my kids! The food is very good, surpassing most surrounding eateries. Five stars, would recommend to others!

I’m a big fan of sesame tomato pie but I’ve never had anything as exquisite and perfectly crafted to perfection, as the sesame tomato pie I had at Nick’s Place. It was life changing. I questioned the service because it always seems packed, but as soon as you walk through those doors, you always feel like a top priority! I can’t pay my rent this month, but I’m definitely going there for dinner tomorrow!

You may think its a mistake, but its not. This restaurant may seem to be a house, but its a great place to eat. The staff is very friendly.The food will give you something to write in your diary.
