“Talk about a great location downtown. The atmosphere inside was really calm & made it easy to relax & catch a bite to eat. Bathrooms were clean & the food was really good. The service however was just very underwhelming unfortunately. My order came out with a couple things I requested not to have on my sandwich. I didn't complain, just picked off what I didn't want & placed in a nice pile on my plate which she seen but didn't care to comment on. That was the only "check on" we received during our hour there. After sitting there for awhile (no longer eating) I finally was able to get her attention for some boxes & our check. Again, the food & atmosphere were great. Not badly priced either!”

“Located on "UL," which is one level down from main floor. On multiple visits, I give it a 3/5. I think the salad bar should be monitored better for cold temperatures (appears to have been addressed), and the soups need to be much warmer. They have a variety of snacks and sides. On one visit, the french fries were nearly cold and definitely not fresh, and you have to ask for ketchup at checkout. I was provided two packets, and while I was initially annoyed at the stinginess, I think it's probably a good way to prevent people from wasting condiments. Overall, it's a convenient option with friendly staff, but be sure to temper your expectations before going in. - Hot dog: good, consistent option. - PBJ: not nearly enough PB or J. - Tuna: no seasoning and small portion. - Fish sandwich: pretty good. - Grilled cheese: basic, but pretty good. - Chicken strips: poor quality, mediocre processed meat. - Tilapia: Overcooked, but still a solid option. - Turkey melt: surprisingly good.”

“Tried this place again for lunch. My bro and I split 2 sandwiches, the french dip and the Havarti & ham. Both were pretty tasty. The coleslaw side was just coleslaw, but the blueberry applesauce was delicious. I'd say it was a 70-30 mix of apple to blueberry. Definitely blue in color.The real winner was the cherry crumb pie that we took home. Cherry isn't usually my favorite, but this one changed my mind.”

Only been there during lunch, which seems to be their busiest time, but their staff seems to still get food out in a timely manner even with lines out the door. Very friendly employees who greet each customer with a smile, and wish them a good day! I highly suggest this restaurant to anyone downtown looking for a quick bite to eat that also fills you up! Their soups are also very good, though a little pricey but the pairs option is well worth it!”

“Had a staff luncheon here. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and didn't take long to order. I had the Aladdin platter, which came with a soft drink. The portion was enough for 2-3 meals, and did not take long to be prepared. The staff was friendly and the cook went out his was to ask me how my days was while fulfilling orders. “The overall experience was good. When I first walked in two homeless men aggressively asked me to get them food which was a turn off. I told the staff and they took care of it ASAP. I got the gluten free vegan options with a sweet and savory option. The sweet was everything I hoped for and the savory was okay. I wish the mushrooms and other insides were flavored because it tasted like they had no seasoning. Would go again and am very thankful for the vegan and gluten free option!”
