Bird Bar & Grill

Pool, darts, food, drinks... and it's all right downtown. Local beers on tap, and in a Mason jar too! It was my go to in college and it's the only bar I stop in when I'm in town since graduation.

The Bird is a staple of the college nightlife in Mount Pleasant. The $2 doubles special from 4(?) to 9 pm cannot be beat (anywhere else that claims to do cheap drinks like this will water them down like crazy, but not this place). The bartenders and bouncers are all friendly, cool people and the crowd is fun without being too rowdy. Definitely expect it to be packed around 8-9:30 pm on a Thursday night! I personally wish there was less country and more music variety played, but it’s always a great time here regardless. Fun to get a booth with friends or play a game of darts or pool.

Great pizza. Handmade crust. Yes, there IS a difference. Try the Mediterranean. It's excellent. Nice selection of beers on tap. Clean and attractive place and great wait staff. Definitely recommend.

I'm a huge fan of trying different bars and mom/pop restaurants. Stopped in here to give it a try. The burgers were okay. I've had better and I've had worse. The fries are really good and the slaw on the burger adds a great fresh crunch.
