The pizza was super good! It's also a nice place to hang out and play pool with family.

Love pool and air hockey. Pizza is good. Paper straws dissolves. QUICKLY AND EASILY. I still like it there though!

The homemade chili is my favorite item to get here, when they actually have some. They also are one of the few places that serve sweet potato fries.

Freddie's truly is a neighborhood bar and grill. The building is old and musty, just what you'd expect for that classic tavern feel! Entry was a little awkward through the couple of green doors. Once in it's a bit dark, but cozy. It's not too close to campus, so there were more locals than students, although this was right after Memorial Day so there may not have been many students around anyway. I started off with the chili which was freakin fantastic. I probably could have eaten that all night and be happy. Based on other reviews I had to try a burger. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with Swiss. It did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked to my liking, medium, juicy and tasty without the need for extra sauces, spices or other eccentric toppings. The meat to bun ratio was perfect, IMO. This can make or break a burger. They also offer a double, but that seemed like too much. The fries were OK. Not bad, but maybe next time I'll opt for a different side. Will there be a next time? That depends if work brings me to the area again. But if that happens I'll definitely stop in!
