“I gave this place a 3 because I have visited it twice in the past couple of weeks and both times I went inside to place an order. Well they only had one person working the counter, she had to do everything, take the order, take the money, fix any drinks, shakes, ice cream orders. This takes a lot of time, both times I waited at least 15 minutes. There were a lot of people waiting for their order. This lady was very friendly and trying to get things done as quick as she could, so I give her credit. But no credit to the managers/owners for being to cheap to get some extra help in there.”

When described to those who are unaware of what a "Dub" is, I answer honestly -- it's stoner food, through and through. Take your favorite snacks after a jazz cigarette and put them in a crunchy, warm tortilla. That's the Menna's experience. Is it good for you? Not particularly. Is it good? Absolutely.”

“Love everything from here. Very good service. Love getting a slice of pizza without any wait. Everybody gets to choose what they want on there slice because there are so many options. I love the spinach one. I also love getting the homemade hummus and pita because it only costs $5 and it costs that just for hummus at the grocery store. We eat the pita dipping it in the hummus, but then we save the rest of the the hummus for our sandwiches the rest of the week.”

“The Bird is a staple of the college nightlife in Mount Pleasant. The $2 doubles special from 4(?) to 9 pm cannot be beat (anywhere else that claims to do cheap drinks like this will water them down like crazy, but not this place). The bartenders and bouncers are all friendly, cool people and the crowd is fun without being too rowdy. Definitely expect it to be packed around 8-9:30 pm on a Thursday night! I personally wish there was less country and more music variety played, but it’s always a great time here regardless. Fun to get a booth with friends or play a game of darts or pool.”

Also added a side salad for 2.99 and a side of sauteed mushrooms for $1. All of the food was really good, the staff was very friendly and the service was great. We will be stopping by again.”

“Marty's is a local institution and it is for a reason. It's a solid bar with a good atmosphere very friendly to townies and non college kids too. The location is about as good as you can hope for too. The real perk though is the food it's all more than solid and you can't find better prices anywhere in town. The steak special is well known which is understandable with the quality and price but the rest of the food is all as good and cheap. Get a lunch there and you will be very pleasantly surprised if you didn't think of it as an eatery”

If you have more than 2 people definitely get a larger size, but for 2 people it was a good amount of food. The bathrooms were clean and you bus your own table.”
