“Tonight was our first time checking out the Fortune Chef restaurant in Caledonia, but it will be the first of many. With a nice casual atmosphere, the food and service was awesome. They feature some amazing Chinese entrees, but plenty of all American faire as well. And breakfast all day! A little off the beaten path on route 37 in Caledonia, but worth the drive.”

“We did take-out tonight. Got their deal of a medium pizza (half ham, half sausage), 8 PC chicken (all dark), mashed potatoes & gravy, and cactus bread (half chocolate) for $32 out the door. Everything was really yummy! I'm a native Chicagoan, and picky about my pizza. This was good pizza! The chicken was EXCELLENT, so were the taters with and without gravy. And we loved our dessert! I can't wait to try their buffet next. This place definitely earned us as regular customers after that meal!”

“The food is great, normally. The service and drive-through are usually slow. And the prices are a bit high for half a sandwich and a soup. I’m not sure the exact price but I expect to spend it at least $12 after-tax. They do offer delivery. Which is great but it does make an already expensive for what you get, usually a soup and a sandwich, even more so. You will definitely pay for the convenience of delivery if you choose to go that route. Which is why I typically only go there if I am passing by it once in a great while. I would like to go there more often if their prices were a bit more competitive or if the service was, at least, just a bit quicker. I don’t mind waiting a little longer, perfection takes time and all that, as they say, but for the price. I would expect them to be a little quicker.”
