“We stayed in a two-bedroom, pet friendly, cottage. The location was ideal. About a 5 minute walk to town and conveniently located to many other attractions in the area. The rustic cottage was clean and the kitchen adequately stocked. The king bed was very comfortable and the bedding of better quality. Two free-standing a/c units kept the rooms comfortable. Lots of areas nearby to walk our two dogs that traveled with us. Although there was an outdoor picnic table, a couple of patio chairs would have been nice. So bring your own. Also, bring BBQ tools if you think you might use the grill. Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar on the property was only seconds away. The food and service were both good.”

“Had a fantastic meal at Riverside Inn. The service was impeccable and the food was awesome. The salad was with made with fresh produce and the fillet was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the ambiance and the bar is great with a large offering of liquors. We had three different wines during our meal and all were great with our meals. It is a must visit.”

“We enjoyed our time visiting with Susan. We spent 2 hours partaking of the Small Plates lunch for our 27th anniversary. Learned a bunch. The food was gourmet, locally sourced and better than restaurant quality. She has a real gift for cuisine.”

“Absolutely amazing dinner!! Chef Eric delivers a superb dining experience in this beautiful venue. Starting with the mussels in cream sauce and beef tartare then a unique salad chock full of local ingredients. Entrees were out of this world, lamb chops and potato crusted halibut. Finished off with chocolate soup for dessert, so creatively delicious. And of course the wine selections are top notch. We love dining like this and Nittolo's did not disappoint!”

“Delicious cheeses, sandwiches, wraps, and even salads. Cans of beer, lemonade, coke products, and bottles of tea are served here as well. Friendly staff, fun shack vibe, and generous portions. I wasn’t planning on eating here because I’m gluten & dairy sensitive. But the fella mentioned that they have a gluten free tortilla & I went for it. He basically let me make up my own wrap with whatever I wanted on it, and it was the very best wrap I’ve ever had. So big & delicious! TIP—> they make their own pretzel bread. It’s great, but a whole lot of bread in the ratio so build your sandwich accordingly. TIP—>get that wrap. The tortilla actually held together & was so good! I got hummus, bacon, chicken, goat cheese & cucumbers. Yum.”

“The cove is a wonderful place to eat with a lots of character! Located within fish town, which is neat little neighborhood to take a walk and shop. Beware parking maybe hard to find during busy times as the area does draw tourists. Most things here are locally operated so that’s a plus. The cove was decorated for Halloween when I visited hence the skeleton in the picture. I had the slow parade draft beer to drink. However they are well known for their bloody marry which six others in my group had, they even ate the fish it comes with. We had appetizers shrimp cocktail and artichoke drip. Note one item not on the menu you order for an appetizer is fries. They go well with the shrimp cocktail. Loved this place will come again!”

“I had the fried smelt basket. Outstanding! Lightly dusted in cornmeal and gently fried. I also had the plain potato skins which were very different than expected and quite delicious! Literally fried potato peels served with sour cream. Yum and Yum. We sat at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. I gave only 4 stars because the menu I downloaded from the web was not current so the prices were higher than listed. Easy enough to update the menu.”

“A delightful authentic experience. I loved each course, our spirited host & lovely knowledgeable chef. The servers were friendly & efficient. If I were to make two suggestions; better to add a little less heat to start, add more after serving for those with the desire, second use a milder fish for the stew. Was definately a fun & unique evening.”

“Had the breakfast burrito and Gouda cheese breakfast sandwich, so good!!!!! What a great spot to be next to the coffee shop there. Only appeared to be one person working there though, seems like it could turn into a hot mess very quickly if a few people came in at the same time.”
