Harrington's By The Bay

Excellent food and service. I had the blacken tuna, wow! It was as good as any steak I have ever had while a healthier choice. Service was excellent, the young lady was attentive and had a good sense of humor. The rest of the party I was with also raved about their choice on the menu. I am only sad that we were traveling through and I won't be able to return.

Food was delicious! Group of 7 & everyone enjoyed meal. Many got $9 lunch combo which is a great deal. Service seemed to be lacking. Our server didn't check in with our table until we asked two different times for her. I had to ask for the iced tea I ordered. By then food was almost out. We all wondered if that is normal service!?! Gave 4 stars for food, ambience & view.

Have not been here in a while. Dining room carpet was very messy, not busy should have been cleaned. Chowder was very good but for $7 it was the smallest cup of soup ever. Prime rib sandwich was good but for $14 just nothing there. Food is good but not worth the money. On a high note our waiter was fantastic.

The lake perch was fried to a point of being unrecognizable as anything more than fried fish. It may have just been a product of the day and time we visited but the meal felt rushed.
I was told by my companions that the cod and the white fish sandwich were good, and my daughter loved the french fries.

I'm sure on less busy days the atmosphere is very nice, and the food wasn't bad. It was just my least enjoyable dining experience in Michigan during our trip.

I love this place! They've got great cocktails and a super fun menu for reasonable prices. Dining room has a view of the bay, which makes it even better. Great place to take the kids too. I'll definitely go back.
