“We loved everything about this winery! The setting is beautiful. When we arrived for our tasting, we were immediately served a lovely glass of wine. Then the tasting staff hand picked our tasting based on our thoughts of the first glass, as well as our other wine preferences. We felt like royalty! The wine, staff and setting were so impressive that we stayed for dinner. The wood fired pizza and a vegetable/dip appetizer were delicious! We left with a lot of wine, and smiles on our faces! We will be back!”

“Cool new place in town to try! It was quite busy for a Thursday night. Service and staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices are a little higher and range from 23-38 an entree. My fish and chips were pretty good at $23. I would have given it five stars if the environment was a little quieter. The design of the place is very pretty, but the hard surfaces carry a lot of noise. Some well positioned noise dampeners would go a long way. Conversations were quite challenging during dinner.”

“Absolutely delicious, we ordered half rack of ribs and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Everything was eaten with nothing left to spare. The ribs fell off the bone. The soup was creamy. Our server Scott was wonderful. He was fast, provided us all we needed and took our picture. We will definitely be back next time we’re in traverse city!”

“Now they even have wraps!! Oh, ya!! So many choices that will fit within your diet regimen. The Subway on M-22 is across from West Bay. You can enjoy your luscious sub inside but in warmer weather there is a patio outside with lovely tables and chairs. It is clean and the staff is quick and courteous.”

“I had a steak grinder here. (Basically a baked sub) easily one of the best grinders I have had in Michigan possibly ever. Steak was tender and tasty, the steak sauce was excellent. The bread was baked to perfection crisp but not crunchy. My cheese was melted perfect. The sliced pickle was a surprise but a welcome one.”

“Apache Trout Grill, is my families and my go to restaurant when we are in Traverse City. This is one of the few restaurants in my many travels around the country that I know I can 100% count on to take care of our needs in both the service and Dietary department (they are very accommodating and understanding to dietary restrictions). I have brought many clients and co-workers to Apache Trout Grill as well, and all have been equally impressed with the great food, and professional service. Keep up the good work, and I am looking forward to many more years of great food! One side note to anybody whom is a first time visitor. Please be aware that this is a VERY popular destination and wait times can be extended during peak hours (very much worth the wait). Please plan for this wait time in your dinner.”

“Food was delicious! Group of 7 & everyone enjoyed meal. Many got $9 lunch combo which is a great deal. Service seemed to be lacking. Our server didn't check in with our table until we asked two different times for her. I had to ask for the iced tea I ordered. By then food was almost out. We all wondered if that is normal service!?! Gave 4 stars for food, ambience & view.”
