Great Turtle Brewery & Distillery

04 July 2020: Got a flight of the 4 beers they brew themselves (their taps are filled out with other Michigan favorites) and they were all pretty darn good. Food was excellent. Had to wait a while for a table but what else would you expect for dinner time on Independence Day? The only reason I didn't check out the swag shop was we had to run to catch our ferry back to St. Ignace. So I bought a shirt from their online shop. I'll be back next time we go out to the island!!!

Enjoyed some appetizers and drinks at this great spot. The gin and tonic made with their Bike Basket gin was perfect. The Painted Turtle cocktail flight was fun but a bit sweet. They have a decent selection of beer and some fun appetizers. I highly recommend the large pretzel. This place was thankfully a little on the far end of the main strip so there wasn’t a long wait to sit down.

A new gem in the Mackinac Island Crown! Service, Food, Atmosphere, worth 5 STARS! The staff was incredibly friendly. Robb, our server was very attentive and made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant even though the place was packed, and for good reason. The food was delicious and the beverage selections seemed endless. The Brewery is a short walk from the ferry docks when you are ready to relax.

Nice place!!! well worth the stop.. I love the outside porch, perfect to have a cold drink and just watch. We had an Awesome waitress named Payton. Treated us so good, I want to come back .. (To the owners of Great Turtle Brewery Payton is worthy of a Nice raise in pay$$$$$ it's next to impossible to find good help like her...) A+
