Was there as part of a team building event for my work. There were 13 people in our group total. River was one of the most helpful front desk attendants I’ve ever encountered at any hotel, going above and beyond. Rooms are kept clean, the hot tub is huge, and the view of Lake Huron is beautiful. Will definitely return in the summer when I can enjoy the beach more.

We enjoyed the view, breakfast was good, and staff was all friendly. The room was nice and clean but a bit smaller than we figured it would be. The Jacuzzi Tub worked the water was hot which was nice since the hotels hot tub was out of order but the light above it was out and it didn't fully function properly the switch was faulty. Also the tub filled with black
fu zz or hair when we turned the jets on the first time. The bed was nice BUT it was really high and sitting on a funky frame and almost fell off the first time my husband went to get on it. Overall despite the issues I would still stay there again because all the issues are easily fixable.

Mixed feelings on this one. It depends on what you are staying here for, whether it would be a 2 or 4 star, hence the 3. If you are looking for somewhere to just rest your head after your days adventures: 4 stars. If you are looking to rest and recover: 2 stars. I am 8 months pregnant and we have a 1.5 year old, so this was supposed to be our rest up before the 2nd one. Well the walls are so thin, and the room above us had a party Saturday night. Which I get, its a Saturday. So we listened to them party until about 3 am, then they were up at 630 talking on the balcony and it literally sounded like they were in our room. We ended up canceling our Sunday morning plans just so we could sleep for a few hours in quiet. But its not like anything can be done about that, unless you tear down the walls and start over, so we didn't complain. We had dinner at the club once and while it was good, the portions were pretty small for the cost. And our server was on her phone at the hostess time for most of dinner. We watched my husband's drink at the bar for 8 minutes before she finally put her phone down and turned around to deliver it. Now onto the good! Breakfast was awesome. Both the food and the service! Those guys were all over it and we joked that we wished they did dinner too. We had a room with a jacuzzi and it worked super well and was very relaxing. View on the water couldn't be beat, and they had a bonfire on the beach at night. So like I said, it depends why you are looking to stay. If it wouldn't have been for the lack of sleep/thin walls, we likely would stay again. Or if R&R wasn't our key goal. I hope this helps!

The room was clean and we were fortunate to have a room facing the water so hearing the waves all night was fantastic. The cleaning situation wasn't ideal, we had to request extra towels and to have our room cleaned since it was missed. Overall good stay. The restaurant and staff leave a lot to be desired - the food wasn't anything special and no one knew how to make drinks, even when looking up the ingredients on their phone.

Breakers was clean and comfy. They have made improvements in the past few years with adding a restaurant and bar. The waterfront views are great for a sunrise pic. Rooms are a bit pricey for what you get and the bar closes at 10pm waitstaff is ok? Breakfast was decent with hot items like omelettes and biscuits and gravy.
