“This is a nice cozy place that has a fairly big menu and absolutely wonderful food. The white fish was freshly caught that morning. The decor is covered in ship and seafaring items. The service was good. Although it was not on the main strip, it is not far. I would recommend this place.”

“Mixed feelings on this one. It depends on what you are staying here for, whether it would be a 2 or 4 star, hence the 3. If you are looking for somewhere to just rest your head after your days adventures: 4 stars. If you are looking to rest and recover: 2 stars. I am 8 months pregnant and we have a 1.5 year old, so this was supposed to be our rest up before the 2nd one. Well the walls are so thin, and the room above us had a party Saturday night. Which I get, its a Saturday. So we listened to them party until about 3 am, then they were up at 630 talking on the balcony and it literally sounded like they were in our room. We ended up canceling our Sunday morning plans just so we could sleep for a few hours in quiet. But its not like anything can be done about that, unless you tear down the walls and start over, so we didn't complain. We had dinner at the club once and while it was good, the portions were pretty small for the cost. And our server was on her phone at the hostess time for most of dinner. We watched my husband's drink at the bar for 8 minutes before she finally put her phone down and turned around to deliver it. Now onto the good! Breakfast was awesome. Both the food and the service! Those guys were all over it and we joked that we wished they did dinner too. We had a room with a jacuzzi and it worked super well and was very relaxing. View on the water couldn't be beat, and they had a bonfire on the beach at night. So like I said, it depends why you are looking to stay. If it wouldn't have been for the lack of sleep/thin walls, we likely would stay again. Or if R&R wasn't our key goal. I hope this helps!”

“Used to be one of my favorites but since changing ownership the food and kitchen quality has diminished greatly. Our table ordered 4 meals only 1 was liked. The cuban sandwich was good it's always been my go to there. However my hubby ordered a wet burrito and got a chicken burrito instead unknowingly at 1st and wasn't very good. One friend ordered the butter chicken said the only good thing was the rice and it looked very unappealing and another friend ordered cheese sticks never got them subbed a baked potato for onion rings still got rings no potato and steak bites weren't great either. Bummer used to be good food. Our waitress was fine but the kitchen needs lots of work!”

“Had the opportunity to try this little gem out during the off season… The atmosphere is totally appropriate and contemporary. The service was warm and welcoming, the Lobster Bisque was Devine. They had many vegetarian friendly options which was great for my wife and mother-in-law. Definitely a must try if you need a full-up, or just a place to stop after a long trip “Over the river and through the woods…😉””

“Wow wow wow! Of course I just had to try the signature blueberry pancakes and they did not disappoint! Mouth watering good no doubt and huge, just take a look at the size of these pancakes (notice how small the fork is in the picture)! And the baked good looked phenomenal as well, especially the coconut cream pie! 🫐🥞🥥🥧”

“Very good food. Unique experience for sure especially for dog lovers! Food were served on dog bowls and the place is decorated tastefully that dog lovers would appreciate. Husband ate the bison burger and I had the smash burger. We ate and enjoyed every bit of them. Owner was super nice too.”

“This restaurant has some fantastic food and a full bar. It is part of a complex that also includes a bowling alley, but don't think your typical bowling alley food. The food here is varied and delicious! I am just finishing up my dinner of fried whitefish that came with some delicious garlic mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad as my sides. Not your typical bowling alley food at all. I try to get in here at least once or twice a season when I am up in St Ignace Michigan and it is always a treat. The business just recently changed hands and I am happy to say that the quality of the restaurant is still top notch! If you're looking for some delicious food, and friendly folks taking care of you, be sure to drop by here. It's just off the beaten track but easy enough to find. Be sure to stick your head in the bowling alley when you're here to see the murals of the old ferries that used to carry people between Mackinaw City and St Ignace before the bridge was built.”

“The wait here was long but only because it was so busy. Turns out it was busy for a good reason. I had the fried tacos and my wife had the tamales and they were both fantastic. I would definitely come back. Other people said the fajitas were great. The service was great for how busy they were and we got our food quickly.”

“Such a cute place! My family of 5 shared a whitefish pizza and an avocado vegetarian pizza, which were both very tasty. Joe was super friendly and gave us advice on how to spend our time in the UP. We had a very nice chat with him and couple other local folks. I highly recommend all three of his restaurants in the area.”

“Went for breakfast. Were greeted immediately by the very outgoing and friendly owners. Even though I was not a Packers fan, they forgave me and allowed me to be seated in their cozy establishment! Large selection of breakfast items. Coffee was great. Food even better. Served by spunky waitstaff. Fun decor all around.”

“This was our second time here. Loved it the first time we came a year ago. Pizza is out of this world. I am a very picky person when it comes to pizza and your pizza made me a believer. You use an equal amount of toppings and cheese and generous amount of sauce. You definitely beat a nationwide chain that has a roof in their logo. They definitely skimp on everything. You have them beat hands down.”

“Large restaurant right on the lake. They were one of the few nicer places still open at the end of the season. Most other shops and restaurants were already closed. Enjoyed drinks and a nice meal from their varied menu. Desserts available too. Reasonably priced.”

“My group was the last table served for the season, apparently they were closing down that afternoon. Despite that, they still allowed us to sit down and enjoy a meal. Our server was very friendly, and had some great recommendations. I ended up ordering a patty melt on wheat and it was fantastic. The patty was grilled perfectly, and the cheese and onions were delicious too. My friends were very satisfied with their meals as well (whitefish patty melt, and lobster mack & cheese). Their fries are good too, nice and thick cut. I would love to come check this place out again next summer, and maybe grab an ice cream cone from the ice cream bus out front.”

“Growing up in the area family brought me back so obviously we had to take the kids over the bridge and a good pasty is necessary when home! Great pasties, guy was super nice wish I'd gotten his name, cause I was very pleased with the service! Even bought a few coffee mugs. I only get my pasties here when I visit home ???? even love I can buy frozen ones to take back with me!”

“This is one of the most amazing places we ate at. My wife and sister-in-law had a whitefish salad they both said it was wonderful, I had the butterfly shrimp with a salad and cottage cheese, that was great. My brother had the broiled whitefish and loved it. The family run business is a well oiled machine. The freindly atmosphere and the smiling faces tells me that we will definitely eat there again. This is a definite recommend place to try”
