It’s a small motel I’m not sure if it’s family owned but I would guess yes. The room was clean and they came in every day to make the bed and get dirty towels. It was located right in town close to stores. The pond hockey teams were staying there and I thought it was going to be a long loud night since there was a dj at the restaurant connected to the motel but it was not. At about 10:15 everything went quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.
Used to be one of my favorites but since changing ownership the food and kitchen quality has diminished greatly. Our table ordered 4 meals only 1 was liked. The cuban sandwich was good it's always been my go to there. However my hubby ordered a wet burrito and got a chicken burrito instead unknowingly at 1st and wasn't very good. One friend ordered the butter chicken said the only good thing was the rice and it looked very unappealing and another friend ordered cheese sticks never got them subbed a baked potato for onion rings still got rings no potato and steak bites weren't great either. Bummer used to be good food. Our waitress was fine but the kitchen needs lots of work!
Pasties are so good I bought 7 frozen ones to bring down state with me for the family. Wonderful and very friendly people. I wasn't planning on eating there, but so glad I did! Thanks all for the wonderful service and great conversation, it was a pleasure.
Food was great! Onion rings were the best I've ever tasted! Good service and comfort atmosphere. We didn't stay overnight just stopped for dinner.
Stopped in on a Wednesday for lunch with my family of 6 plus both grand parents. Service was great and the food was delicious! I had to try their up-er special. I forgot the name of it but essentially it's a meat pot pie. It was really good. Kids got chicken fingers and fries which they said were good. Wife got a fish taco which was amazing! I wish that I had gotten that actually. Fresh veggies in that along with the fish, it was GOOD! Glad we made the drive over the bridge and decided to stop in for lunch. I would definitely go again.
We sat outside and enjoyed watching the ferry boats come and go.
