Pasqualis

Address: 100 Cliff St, Negaunee, MI 49866, USA

Restaurant

“Food/pizza is ok, definitely not the best in the area but it's nice they bring in comedians during the winter for something to do. Wait staff is usually good but I've had a few lately that are very slow and forget orders and don't keep up with the drink orders.”

Marquette Mountain Resort

Address: 4501 M-553, Marquette, MI 49855, USA

Restaurant

“The view of Lake Superior from the top of the mountain is a must see. There are several nice black diamond runs. There is a mix of groomed and ungroomed including moguls and tree skiing. Chair 3 goes over the Carp River. "The T-BAR" has several craft cocktails and local & domestic beers on tap. There is a cafeteria with a large space with lots of tables and a small fireplace. Can't wait to ski here again.”

The Courtyards; Home of Second Line T-Boys and Tapas

Address: 1110 Champion St, Marquette, MI 49855, USA

Restaurant

“OMG! I've been eating "healthy" for 9 months and lost 50#! Today went out to indulge and what a rewarding choice! The Jalapeno Hush Puppies were Divine! Crispy on the outside, moist and delicious on the inside! The shrimp and chips, perfect! Joe had chicken tender sandwich and enjoyed it 😊 I very much enjoyed a Shirley Temple with a slice of orange, so refreshing! Check it out and read the sign when you enter 😀❤”

Huron Mountain Bakery

Address: 1301 S Front St, Marquette, MI 49855, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“Our family LOVES Huron Mountain Bakery!! Every trip up to The U.P. we swing by for delicious donuts and pasties, desserts, croissants & sandwiches. It's the perfect meeting spot for coffee and savory or sweets! 'The Huron' is our favorite sandwich with avocado & honey mustard, turkey and veggies on a croissant. But there is easily an option for everyone! The 'Ham & Swiss' croissants are easily our favorite, but they had a 'Vegetarian' and 'Spinach & Feta' for savory options as well. Of course, they have a chocolate croissant, an apple & blueberry cream cheese I believe. The donuts are massive, light, airy and full of flavor! And, as you can see, the cheesecake is too good to wait for! Creamy, sweet, perfectly paired with a raspberry sauce. Stop by, I believe they have a sister location in Ishpeming as well.! You'll be happy you did!”

Summer Place

Address: 236 Kloman Ave, Republic, MI 49879, USA

“This was a great little diner to eat at! The pancakes are the best you will ever have, but only have 1 because they are huge! I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area!”

Velodrome Coffee Company

Address: 105 S Main St, Ishpeming, MI 49849, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This is the best coffee that we had in all of MI. The vibe is a local celebration of the biking scene and we had a great chat with the baristas. The dirty chai and the butter beer butterscotch lattes were fabulous. Thank you!”

Mama Mia's Italian Restaurant

Address: 207 E Pearl St, Ishpeming, MI 49849, USA

Restaurant

“Pizza was good! Miscommunication between waitress and us on order! We had the Works with no olives and extra onions. We got The Works with no olives and no sausage... They brought out sausage for us! No biggie. Waitress was good and friendly! Crust on pizza was very good! Seemed to take awhile to get our food! I would return again!”

Buck's Restaurant

Address: 218 S Main St, Ishpeming, MI 49849, USA

Restaurant

“Good breakfast spot. I came in here after an interesting night of camping quite a few miles down the road. This place definitely satisfied my hunger. It has a very homey feel to it. You can tell that a lot of locals regularly eat here. The atmosphere did not disappoint either with deer heads mounted on the wall as well as cool yooper memorabilia. The place was also very clean. As for food, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, a side of corn beef hash, toast, and a side of ranch. It was all very good. While I was ordering, the waitress curiously asked me what the ranch was for. I told her it was for the hash and we both laughed. Good times for sure. Overall, this place is worth the visit if you are in the area looking for a good breakfast.”

Strega Nonna

Address: 432 Iron St, Negaunee, MI 49866, USA

Restaurant

“An outstanding addition to the Marquette County and UP food scene. The best Italian cuisine up here, hands down. The antipasto were amazing, with tender octopus and deliciously pickled quail eggs. The caramelized onion lasagna was delicious (although not much to look at), and the risotto was rich with flavor (the rice was either perfect or slightly under done, depending on your taste in grains). The meat ball platter was good too, but the simplest and least interesting of the courses. Honestly, the antipasto was the best course. Cocktails on menu were fantastic, but a Manhattan was served in a glass full of loose ice (?!?). We didn't have room for dessert, so can't comment. As a whole it was wonderful. I'm not sure the prices match all the courses, but I'm optimistic that Strega will make it past the opening and beyond the initial bumps. I look forward to trying it again, but maybe a la carte.”

Jackson's Pit Gourmet Grill & Bar

“Great atmosphere and food. Draft beer menu was robust, lots of food choices. Was underwhelmed by the portion of French fries served with the kid's meals and adult entree, that was the only negative. Has a stage for live music, but we went early and mid-week.”

Upper Peninsula Brewing Company

“An awesome Brewery in the Upper peninsula of Michigan. Bartender was super nice and explained the beers to us. The beers were all really good. We tied all but one of them. Everything was crisp and clean, really good stuff. The atmosphere was also super cool, they have part of the old slaughter house equipment in the building separating the levels. High recommendation.”

Staff is ALWAYS friendly, never rude. the owners scott & Gigi (he runs the shell crossroads & wife Gigi runs the shell kountry Korner in Gwinn & this review includes both. Although the Gwinn one offers more space for truckers & I hope like hell, Scott puts the propane refill station back in. Both places are a small town feel with well... everything. You'll be treated right, with respect & honesty & products.”

The large chef salad that had tons of roast beef was only $6.15. A great value. There is a burger place in the same store space that shares the dining room, etc.”

“We popped in for dinner last Friday evening. It looked very busy and almost didn't stop, but very pleased we did. We were seated immediately. The decor and atmosphere was really nice. It felt warm, welcoming and relaxing. Ordering was a little frustrating because everything we wanted they were out of stock, so we had to keep changing it until we picked something in stock. My husband a flight of beer and enjoyed the recommendations from our server.”

A & M Cafe

Restaurant

“Cute little restaurant! Clean! We had today’s special which was Prime Rib, potato (we chose mashed w/gravy) salad, vegetable (chose carrots which were sweet and tasty) and desert…choice of chocolate sundae or sherbet. The food was excellent with that homemade touch! The table next to us got a pizza which looked amazing, and disappeared as soon as the server set it on the table! Bathrooms were spacious and clean with easy access. We had great a server, and everyone was so nice… From the road, the restaurant is a small brown building with a big gas station type awning, so don’t miss it!”
