Our waiter was very friendly, courteous, and prompt. The food was, as always, excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Tried the chicken pot pie for the first time. It was really good. Good service too. Went another time though and the pot pie wasn't as good

Nice little cozy place. I've only really gotten breakfast here and they do a great job of making you feel welcomed. Get a hot chocolate! The whip cream it comes with is so good!
I enjoy the Sunshine Skillet; pancakes are always good too! Tried the Everything Breakfast yesterday, it's not bad it is a bit too much flavor. Hard to explain but if you get it you'll probably say the same thing

My overall experience when dining at the Big Rapids Bob Evans establishment can be summarized as a 3 out of 5 stars. The overall appearance of the dining area needs a bit of improvement in terms of cleanliness; tabletops were clean and organized but the carpet looked like it was need of vacuuming since there was paper products littering under the tables. Windows need a bit of cleaning and dusting as well as the restrooms. Overall the staff varied in levels of service. Upon entering the establishment, the hostess that greeted my dining partner and I seemed as though she would have rather been anywhere else than at work. However, our server greeted us with a smile on his face and was excellent in attending to us throughout our meal. The food I received took a little long considering the restaurant was fairly empty and when I did receive it, it was lukewarm. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner with a side of mac n cheese and a baked potato with sour cream. I did not finish the meal since I wasn't satisfied with the temperature and texture. Overall, I think this particular Bob Evans could use improvements towards staff morale, food quality to price ratio, and maintain upkeep.
