“We love the Double JJ Resort. We've stayed several times. The indoor water park is just the right size. We loved the small wave pool at the entrance to the lazy river. We were a bit disappointed that most of the carried features in the toddler area weren't working. We missed out on snow tubing because the snow had melted. The Sundance Restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. Our amazing waitress April remembered our drink order on our second night. We did not use the stables this trip, but have gone on trail rides and carriage rides in the past. The resort also has glow in the dark mini golf and a small arcade. There are a wide variety of room sizes to fit your every need. Some of the smaller rooms have no windows, though. I felt that our room could've been lit better, seeing it lacked a window. As an inside room, it was also a bit too warm for my tastes. I had to turn on the AC in January to cool it to 70. We were disappointed that pool passes weren't included in the room, especially when we noticed a fee for amenities on our bill.”

“Great place and atmosphere. Food was very good and the staff were nice. I gave them a four star rating only because the perch I had was just a wee bit over cooked for my liking. And the hand towels is the rest room were empty. I'll absolutely go back.”

“Because they were like my mother used to make....they are the best tamales ever....I ordered 10 dozen and taking them back to Florida. I was impressed by the menu and his little family. I wish them all the best and will pray they are in business for many many years! Lucky Rothbury Michigan!”
