ALPINE TAVERN & EATERY

I enjoyed great food at Alpine Tavern. One has a choice of inside or outside dining. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Friendly staff. Drinks and deserts.

An unexpected, delightful experience! The food was good although the dishes we chose were a bit bland. The basil in the spinach was a surprising combination that I liked but the salmon was very plain even after I mixed it in. Really, the 5th star is for the stellar atmosphere. We had a great time with the outdoor games while waiting for our food and after finishing dinner.

Great food, very reasonable pricing. Old school decorations make it feel homey and comfortable. Indoor and outdoor seating make this place I will definitely go to again.

One of my favorite restaurants in town for their food. Great place for lunch. Everything I've ever ordered is a nice portion and always delicious. Service is good, sometimes slow but worth the wait. I highly recommend. Atmosphere is very comfortable and you can eat indoors or outside on the patio when it's nice outside.

Great service with an excellent selection of food. Always greater to see fresh fish on the menu. They have GF items on their menu and can accommodate as well. I got the crispy Whitefish sandwich. It was fresh, fried perfectly, thrown on a fresh bun and it was ginormous! Will easily return when back in Gaylord.
