Chia Shiang Restaurant

I ordered the orange chicken and fried rice to go it was fresh, hot and delicious. Customer service was polite and efficient. My first time ordering from here I will be back.

The food is good and it's not always busy, that's why I like!

Not sure what other reviewers are griping about. Had a great takeout experience from Chia Shiang today. While there was no one at the counter initially, a man came out and let me know that someone would be with me shortly. I ordered boiled fish in spicy soup from the Chinese menu and the amount of food for $17 was mind boggling. They even gave it to me in a reusable, sturdy plastic container.

Don't believe the bad reviews on this place! Seriously, this is the best Chinese food I've ever eaten! We were so impressed by the number of vegetarian options. The food was fresh and you can tell it's homemade with much love. It was so nice to have tofu that wasn't deep fried in my dish, along with a flavorful sauce and perfectly crisp tender, fresh vegetables. They are generous with their rice too. The vegetarian hot and sour soup was divine! The staff was so attentive, friendly, warm, and kind. The place has charm and is cozy. The server apologized for the wait for our food, but we weren't in a hurry and enjoyed a relaxing meal. It wasn't a long wait. The portion size was so generous that I had to take half of it home and the kind staff member sent me home with some rice. This place is top notch and you will love your food. The others complaining in their reviews are off base and rude.

This place deserves Five stars for the food. Absolutely wonderful. Ordering take out is always amazing. They are very consistent and their portions are very big. However, their service is deplorable. I've sat down to dine in twice now and both times waited about ten minutes before offered food, drink, or a place to sit. Both times, I needed a new drink since I found bits of gunk in my water/pop. Both visits I found myself being eyed and scrutinized by the waitstaff. I love their foods taste and picking up for a delivery is speedy but until they up the ante on their dine-in service, they are only three stars.
