Today Smokey G's Smokehouse gave out free rib tips to Veterans! ? How awesome is that?! ❤️?? If I do say so myself, please do try the brisket! It's amazing, tender, slowly smoked over apple wood. ?? If you want some good food, make your way here! And the ambiance is amazing, off the river, and with plenty of open space! ❤️??

Location is great.. right off the water in downtown Detroit. There is a play area for the kids and sitting areas where social distancing is possible ?? Staff wore masks and treated my husband and I with respect. My husband order the beef brisket and the Mac n cheese and it was cooked to perfection (not exaggerating either)! Greg is a good friend of mine and is the owner. I highly recommend this place ?❤️

What a great place! Smoked perfection whoever is tending the meats here is no rookie. Pulled pork was moist and had great smokey flavors throughout. The smoked Turkey Leg was like a meat lollipop! The more I ate the less I had left it was a happy and sad time. ?
Finding the place was the hardest part . Pro tip... if you see the Park and Bus stop looking building you are Here! Free parking lot just around the corner too. Staff was very kind as well. Come get some!

I stopped by today and ordered a full rack of ribs, rib tips, half chicken and smoked salmon fo my family. I got home and tried the meats. Chicken, yum! Rib tips, yum ! Salmon, yum yum ! And for the ribs I do not have enough words to praise them !!!!! Tasty, perfect, delicious , cannot stop eating them , will not share them AWESOME ribs ! My compliments to the gentlemen that cooks them. Thank you for a delicious meal . Will visit you again and again.

Nice spot that my homeboy Emmett told me to check out. I ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich and Baked Beans as fuel for my bike ride on the river. The food was tasty and the sauce was awesome. Highly recommended!
