All the owners care about is profit and nothing about customer service, qaulity of food or pricing that meets those same qualities. If you're a million+$ location... then your staff should be professional. You bathrooms, lobby and most certainly your kitchen areas should be clean..and I mean Sanitized to health department and franchise specifications!!!???? Your signage should be in working order and displayed properly. Your grounds should also STAY clean. Lastly, if your the owner of this restaurant...you and your management team should spend more time Fixing the known issues your location has instead of having senseless meetings about pricing increases and drama from teanage staff. Hire professional people...you and old. That's just MY 2 cents!????????”

“This place fascinates me! I have never successfully placed an order. When I have tried the drive through, they always direct me to order at the window, which necessitates waiting in line—so then I would have to wait again.. not really the point of a drive through, or worth the time, so I leave. This has happened probably 10 times; the place right by Meijer, so why not? Today I thought it would be interesting to go inside—surely I would be able to order something at least. But no one was tending the registers, so I waited for about 10 minutes. There were some other customers there waiting for the food that they had somehow ordered and paid for. Everyone seemed pretty annoyed and they were asking each other how long they had been waiting. There were a few employees waiting at the end of the grill line bagging things and diligently avoiding eye contact. I eventually left. I am amazed and somehow thrilled that this place is operational and employs people.”

“My wife is vegan and would love to try this place. Good Cakes and Bakes has been recommended to us many times and this morning we finally got there for the first time. We were very surprised by how nice it looks inside. The place is small but has a nice menu with several great sounding options. The food and drinks are delicious, and my wife really enjoyed it! Baked goods have many wheat free, soy free, and nut free options on top of being 100% vegan. The eating area is small, but colorful and cute. Excellent flavor and good portion sizes. We brought home several terrific looking desserts but wanted to get this review done before I forgot.”

“The food was incredible and the staff extremely friendly. I literally haven’t been able to eat for months. I had a stroke a few months ago and lost my ability to taste. Nothing tasted good. Even things that I was craving didn’t taste good. But I went to this place and ordered a ground beef and cheese omelet it was awesome. I couldn’t eat it all and got it to go so I will be able to eat something tonight. Great spot a definite place to visit when visiting Detroit”

“One of the best locations I’ve been to. The customer service is beyond perfect. The lady taking our order made sure we were or were not wanting to get all the add one we could. Double checked everything and made sure we were happy. Spoke so clearly that even I could understand it and I’m 90% def and wearing hearing aids. Only two minus was the little girl making the drinks and organization. As the little girl was measuring off the milk to use for a Small and Medium hot chocolate.. measured off too little so she filled up the medium all the way, and the small one only a quarter ... then filled the rest with cream... while I was watching. Lucky to you that I like cream and that I like my drink not too hot..... Secondly there were only 3 employees and too many customers. Which resulted in that we had to wait forever, as one person did taking the order and making food. The other person was cashing clients out and making food. And the last one was making drinks and food and calling people.... you guys need more staff.”

The great reviews will tell you that this Diner has Homemade, Great tasting, hearty, flavorful food. The street tacos, the mac & cheese, the roast , horse radish mash potatoes, The Burgers, homemade condiments....OH MY!!! GET READY! Not to mention that I am a Certified Event Planner. So I hired this HONEY HOLE DINER to cater an event for 100 people. I ordered the Roast & mash, mac & cheese, asparagus, & the crispy homemade potato fries. I picked the food up, they packed it in foil pans, nothing spilled or leaked, they loaded up my truck and I traveled 40 minutes to the venue and the food was freshly cooked, still nice and hot when I set it up. THE GUEST LOVED IT. It was amazing to see this crowd eat and take home doggy bags. They asked so many times about the cook. The Honey Hole Diner did that!!!”
