“This review is from one who passed through Springfield, MN, at lunchtime looking for local place. When we walked in about noon, it was dark and we asked if they were serving lunch. Yes they were. The menu was hamburgers, hamburgers, and hamburgers. So we each ordered a double. I was surprised they didn’t have 7 up from the sign out front. Tom said the sign was older than he was. Appreciate his sense of humor. The bill was only $9 for two doubles, chips and drinks. For lunch I would order more than you normally would for the sandwiches are small, but taste good. I would recommend it as a place for lunch. Closes at 1.”

“We ordered a chicken salad and a tuna sandwich. What can I say, it was a salad made from Subway sandwich fixings and a tuna sandwich. The staff were nice young people and did a good job in these COVID times. Their big fail was we ordered a fountain drink and there was no ice (machine was not working) and she didn't say this when we ordered. When we asked about ice they didn't offer a refund for the drink or even offer to sell one of the bottles or cans from the refrigerator.”

“Amazing chicken, exactly what I hoped for! I'd say it's lightly coated and heavier seasoned/salted (brined?) flavorful and crispy, where the chicken has great flavor and the coating enhances and amps up the flavor. Unlike a lot of fried chicken I that I think relies on breading alone to bring the flavor to the chicken party. Drove an hour and a half one way, and it's a nice drive through the beautiful farms fields of MN, stress free, with nice roads.”

“Keep in mind I went there at a off time 4 pm. At slightly over $20 for 2 people, the price was fair but at that time of day most of their menu items were bare. The appetizers were dry but I smothered them in the saucy menu items and topped with the yellow rice. Getting drinks was a little confusing as it appears to be a staff area only. Otherwise it's basically your avg Chinese buffet and not one of the real bad ones you go running out of terrified”

“Excellent experience on Aug 6, 2020! We were on our way home from a day-long road trip. We searched for a restaurant where we'd be able to sit outdoors and be relatively safe from Covid-19. Plaza Garibaldi was the only place we could find that offered pleasant outdoor seating. Both patios were immaculate and tables were comfortably spaced. The service and the food were excellent and we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices. The waiter was available, but not constantly stopping at our table. We'll stop again next time we are in town.”

One bite everyone knows the rules, 4.5 would go elsewhere for pizza, but it was decent enough to eat, not bad in any real way, not remarkable in any way. I do give them credit we ordered light sauce and some places struggle with that and they nailed it. Also I'd go back for pizza, if I got to have their ice cream for dessert.”
