Got there right at closing. They took our order no problem. Pizza ready in less than 15 minutes. We will be regular customers when we are passing through! Pizza was perfect!

It’s been 17 years since my previous visit. Based on reviews, I was unsure of what to expect.

I called ahead to verify hours. The individual who answered was kind and knowledgeable.

The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and kind.

The restaurant was clean and well tended.

And the pizza and garlic cheese bread were absolutely delicious. I ordered the 14 inch thick crust Uff Da Zah.

It's amazing that this place has gotten BETTER over the years. Everyone in Minnesota knows and loves this restaurant so if your visiting it's definitely worth a visit. I love the counter ordering because you can walking and out without waiting and eat by the lake.

Seriously good pizza!

As far as the establishment, it has some “confusing” charm, the uhaul boxes hiding something in the back of the dine in portion are a bit tacky and the tables could use a cleaning between customers but fairly minor stuff.

We did have an issue with one of the pizzas we ordered which they recognized their error and rectified it right away.

Definitely will be back.

It is true they are understaffed like many places in Grand Marais but they are doing a good job staying up with the high demands. We only had to wait 20- minutes for our pizza. It was a good Garlic Pesto and Chicken pizza and very cheesy just the way we like it.
