“Good hearty breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. My æbleskivers were delicious and maybe a touch too sweet. Potato crusted quiche is a tasty way to have hashbrowns and eggs. Everything was salted well, and the coffee was mild and flavorful without acidity. The restaurant is in a hotel and offered a buffet option for breakfast. Everyone is seated in the same area, so it can be distracting to see people coming and going. I wish they'd play up the Scandinavian inspiration more, especially given their location in the Midwest United States. Don't miss this hidden gem of a restaurant for breakfast!”

“The food is great and so is the service! We have been staying at the crown plaza for a few days and have had breakfast 3 days and dinner 2 times and apps once. Every meal was great and the service is consistently good. The wine and beer options are great. The martini sampler is fun too. The breakfast buffet is very expansive with eggs and omelets to order. We are very pleased. Kudos to Shane our server each evening...great service ! And positive attitude. Forgot to mention Daisy our server each morning, who took great care of us and always made sure our coffee and waters were full! Thank you for starting our mornings out so pleasant.”

“The Mall of America Panda Express uses different plates so you don't get as much food as at a normal panda. It's kinda annoying when you pay more but get less than you would at the Panda down the street by Target. But I guess that's how it goes at the mall. The food is good and employees seem decent. Can't complain about that, but I'm docking a star for the plates they use to screw you out of an ounce or so of food. C'mon, don't be so cheap.”

“I did enjoy the Melt Shop. It's difficult however to not compare it to Shake Shack, that is just across the way. I had their chicken melt and my wife had their beef party melt. Bread was nice and crispy and the slaw on the chicken was a good breakup from the fat. The pickles did the same for the beef. We had loaded tots as well. The cheese sauce could have been a bit thinner, but they are better than the fry offerings from Shake Shack. We also shared a strawberry shake. It was very tasty but nothing special. The woman that took our order was very friendly as well. In the end I don't think you'd be unhappy eating at the Mall of America Melt Shop, but there is a lot of competition now, even just in that food court.”

“Went here for my birthday and was really looking forward to the custard. Sadly, it was chunky and sticky. I know this isn’t the norm but it was really unfortunate because I had been really looking forward to it. Additionally, they got part of our order wrong ( we didn’t go back because the line was so long). On the other hand, the chicken tenders were to die for as usual and I was told the burger was good too. I love their food, so I hope with this review they can figure out the custard so the next time I visit I get that creamy, smooth custard I love so much!”

“Fantastic service! I believe my server was Lauren B. I ordered the center cut steak with coconut shrimp, sweet potato and broccoli with cheese. It was great! The steak was a little tough, I know it wasn't a great cut but they managed to prepare it to my liking. Lauren realized that my broccoli wasn't prepared as usual so she sent over the corrected one. Unbeknownst to me I wouldn't have known the difference being from out of town. I thought it was still good. Though I have to say the new one was really good!! Yay for Lauren! You just made my day! Thank you!!!????????”

“Dinner with family. Since we had seven the host wanted to seat us in the bar. It was ok but I would have preferred the atmosphere of the main dining area. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and the service was good. I had the salmon and it was terrific. I’m kinda fussy about food temperature so my only wish would be that it was just a touch hotter. The presentation was excellent...see photo. This is a very good choice for a high end meal or important occasion. It’s s busy hotel under renovation for the rooms that remain to be finished. The happy hour drinks and food for hotel guests is hard to beat from 5:30 to 7:30. The morning free breakfast was also a hit according to my family.”
