Hi-Lo Diner

If you go here for no other reason, you need to go here for the high tops. Can't remember how they spell it. it's a great food creation that I can't find anywhere else when I search for it, and that other restaurants would be foolish not to mimic. I think they invented it. This is also just a great little diner that delivers in every way they promise. I love this spot.

I love the hi tops, Gary cooper is my fave! I try to share one with my friends everytime we go. This past time I tried the commercial and it was delicious! Roast beef, mashed potatoes, and a cheddar biscuit all smothered with gravy and horseradish cream sauce. They have a awesome cocktail list and boozy milkshakes!! Even if you aren't trying to indulge in the richness of most of their foods they have options for you, their taco salad is wonderful!

My friend and I were starving after hiking it out by the Mississippi one Sunday, so we picked out the best rated place in the area. And Hi-Lo did not disappoint.
From the get go, the staff were super friendly and service was quick. We got some amazing buffalo cheese curds with just the right amount of spice, followed by scrumptious fried chicken on their signature donut. To end it all we got their famous dessert hand on the cookie jar, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone with a fondness for peanut butter.
Definitely going to come back again soon!

What a fun and tasty experience! Great service. Fun menu. Excellent food. . .and plenty of it. Loved the french toast and the potato chip eggs! Definitely would go back there. And would love to try the drinks on their menu, too!

Tasty and inventive menu! Classic diner dishes, offered alongside creative interpretations of the theme. The outcome is awesome food and great service! Personal and unrushed, while keeping a brisk pace. The booths are comfy too. A special place all around.
