Benedict's

Very good service, nice decor. A little wait to get in, but you can choose to sit at the bar. We really liked the coffee, it was strong and aromatic. The pancakes are more cakey than fluffy with a great butter flavor.

Great new place in downtown Rochester. Lots and lots of good options for food and drinks. I enjoyed the corned beef tater tot hash. The tots were jumbo, about 1.5", and had a hash brown feel to them. A nice change from the regular type. Came with a healthy portion of corned beef and cabbage. There was some mustard somewhere in the dish, but it was buried underneath it all unfortunately. The rest of my party enjoyed a variety of Benedict's and an avocado toast, all delicious. I enjoyed that they had many of the brunch stables but also added their own twists. Great place, great food.

Fun to try a new place in Rochester. Food was good but not extraordinary. Very poor acoustics. Hard to carry on a conversation. Did feel a little like we were in a fish bowl with large windows right next to dining area.

Went a couple weeks ago. Food was excellent, wait was a little long.
During the wait I couldn't help but realize how the window walls of the restaurant leave those dining to be watched like animals in a zoo. I thought the whole thing once we were seated and others were waiting, the big glass walls though, providing an open atmosphere made it uncomfortable to dine with everyone watching in. I may suggest something like a frosted decorative vinyl for the bottom 4-5 feet to give diners a bit more privacy from those outside waiting.
Inside one unfortunate thing was acoustically, all glass and concrete made carrying a conversation across the 2 foot table a shouting match.
The service was good, a bit slow but I'm sure that's the bumps of being very new.
The food as I said was excellent.
I hope that you may take into consideration the minor things aesthetically that could be more enriching and enjoyable for the patrons.
