We planned our visit to Cameo on our 25th anniversary - it was a perfect setting! We started with a Little Thistle Oktoberfest and red wine, along with the Korean chicken as an appetizer. Delicious! The heat from the spice was cut nicely with the accompanying sauce. Next came the beet salad for my husband and the chicken and wild rice soup for me. Both were delicious. For entrées, I ordered the short ribs and my husband had the salmon. Again, both were wonderful. The ribs were tender and savory, and the pear/apple chutney topping was a perfect match. We will definitely be back.

Yum! I've eaten at Cameo at the Castle three times now and it's been fabulous each time. They have a great menu, good drinks, and a lovely atmosphere. The entire building is cool too; be sure to check out the coffee shop and artist loft on the second floor.

Another great meal and experience. Short rib dish was mouth watering. Our server was tremendously personable and attentive, next visit I will definitely ask for Philip again. Cameo should invest in a wine cooler for the reds; both visits it was served quite warm.

Just off of Broadway this is a basement restaurant with a modern feel, it has blended a white and red theme with a darker theme in a very contemporary way. The lighting would make it suitable for a more formal romantic outing or a business lunch. The menu has a modest selection of dishes that has something for everyone in modest portions. The curry dish was pretty tasty for the curry lovers and their burger is at least on par or better then quite a few places. There is a blend of less expensive and very expensive food items, with heavier meals being quite expensive, and the lighter affair being reasonably priced even if the portions are small. With moderation the bill for two can easily be kept under 30 dollars a person. While I do not have experience with all of the wait staff, I can say that the waitress that served me, was very attentive, provided an awesome customer service experience. My glass was never empty and her service was well worth the tip I left. The desert ordered was chocolate torte this was very good. If I had comments on the food I would say that the menu could use a couple more items maybe a larger salad. And a little wider price range. I would recommend making the torte just a little smaller and add more ice cream that combination was spectacular. Bottom line, the desert was top notch, the food was decent, the service is why I gave it 5 stars, thank you Tracy, you were friendly, and attentive.
