“They apparently recently opened sometime last year, according to a certificate they had hung up. Regardless, I'm not a local and was looking into small businesses we could try for my in-laws who are locals. I wanted a place that was really good but something they haven't tried before. I'd definitely say I got that experience. The inside is a bit empty, but they had art on walls and I think it really lightened the atmosphere. The staff were super friendly, even though we walked in just before closing. They were on top of everything efficiently and I think it left a good impression. A lot of small businesses can get overwhelmed easily, but they definitely didn't. Nice job!”

“The food was good. We had pizza and wings. The second beer for a buck is great. They seemed a little short of help so everything was a little slow. The server was friendly and tried hard but it seemed he had a lot to do. The restaurant was too cold for my taste. We might try it again.”

“I love bloom so much!!!! The vibes that this place give off is incredible! It has a lot of flavors and a ton of toppings. I can’t have any dairy so the fact that this place is dairy-free, gluten-free and is vegan makes it an even better place to go. For everyone that has not gone, this is you chance. Trust me you will love it🤤”

“I have been to a lot of Starbucks and this is by far one of the best. New location, modern design. Inside and outside fireplace to warm you up if the hot coffee isn’t doing it . The staff is helpful and courteous. The most important part is…the coffee is very good. We order hot and iced coffee and both made to perfection. This location should be the standard for all the other Starbucks.”

“This place is a hidden gem. Four amazing tacos with rice and beans for $12. The barbacoa is so flavorful. Some of the best tacos I've in town by far. Give this place a try for sure.”

“We decided to try this newer place in Rochester, MN, as this was to be our favorite place when it was an Irish pub. Food is great, very nice servers and love the decor as well. They have outdoor seating as well. Not to mention the bathroom is cleaned and very nice. Highly recommend.”

“Discovered this restaurant while visiting St. Marys hospital. Delicious authentic Mexican food. Had the chicken gordita plate. It came with two gorditas stuffed with shredded chicken and topped with a Verde type sauce/salsa. It had chopped jalapeño in it so there was some heat but wow, it was delicious! Anxious to return and try something else.”

“Appetizers were great. The service was great to start and throughout the meal. My wife had a salad that was delicious and I had the 60/40 burger which was very good. We visited on Father's Day and free drinks for the fathers. Was a nice touch as was many donuts for the table. This would have been a five-star review but when it came time to get our check our server disappeared for quite a long time. Often that final closeout can be as crucial as everything else as it's the last thing we remember when we leave. Definitely will be back.”

“My second visit to TOWNIES GRILL’D SUBS proved what I had already thought to be an instant no-brainer “go to” for my sub cravings and smash’d burgers… You can’t go wrong, they’re friendly, outgoing staff will see that you leave “full and happy”…Prices are reasonable, portions are adequate, and with plenty of convenient parking, online ordering, and fast pickup inside or use they’re curbside service and never even get out of your car! (This will undoubtedly prove useful in our cold winter months) Townies has a full bar as well, with plenty of ice cold beer choices available and they’re open year round..Just writing this review has got me craving one of they’re subs, I’ll have to go back SOON!! I’ve yet to run into the owner Cody, but when I do I’ll tell him I’m happy to have TOWNIES in Rochester, a GREAT alternative to the “overpriced” Jersey Jo’s…”

“Visited June 23. Couldn't have been more pleased. Cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming, attentive staff. The manager was most accommodating and addressed my special needs in a wheelchair for a Mayo Clinic visit in a remarkable way. The closed outside doors at Eisenberg probably decrease former traffic past the coffee shop corner. I hope that the Kahler Hotel will give the Fiddlehead proper public attention now that the hotel is discontinuing food service. Fiddlehead is bringing value to the community of Rochester, Mayo Clinic and downtown Rochester, in my opinion. I have a woman-owned small business established in 1979, worked at Mayo before that, and had many stays at the Kahler since the first in 1961.”

“Second time here and enjoyed both experiences. Modern, fun patio atmosphere and a menu with enough options to make everyone happy. I planned to have dessert but the key lime cocktail was so rich, I didn't have room. Excited to go back and try their fresh take on tiramisu with lemon and blueberry.”

“Carne asada tacos and a large horchata hits the spot every time. The food is authentic and it tastes great. The menudo is also good and they have a wide variety of Mexican breads. The market side of El Gallo has many offerings, my current favorite is Pepe's Chicharrones - Chile y lime flavor”

“I had a wonderful dining experience with my family at this amazing restaurant yesterday. Our waiter, Marco, was a delight to interact with—pleasant, polite, and a genuinely friendly young man. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our order arrived promptly within just 10 minutes. And let me tell you, the food surpassed all expectations—it was truly excellent! I wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional eatery to anyone in search of a remarkable dining experience.”

“New ownership has changed things around a little bit but it’s still a great place to get a nice meal for a reasonable price. The new menu has some unique items and everything has that “made from scratch” feel to it. Definitely recommend!”

“The best bubble tea and poke that Rochester, MN has to offer! When you arrive, you can order either at the register or one of the two kiosks up front. Everything is customizable, both drinks and poke bowls. You can either order a bowl off their menu or make your own- either way the ingredients are so fresh and incredibly delicious. The fish options are also great quality! They are a bit heavy handed with their sauces, so if you like your poke less saucy, ask for less or get it on the side. Both the milk based drinks and fruit based drinks are so good. If you're like me who doesn't like drinks too sweet or watered down, I recommend getting your drink at 50% sweetness with less ice. You can tell the owner placed so much thought into making this a good experience for the customer— even the chopsticks are the high-quality, splinter-free kind!! I highly recommend this place and hope that everyone in the Rochester community continues to support this local business.”

“So we've been going here a lot since it opened the green mill food is really good! They have a week-day deal for pizza and wings that's a good value on the other hand the service is not good wrong orders, they charged us for extra cheese we didn't ask for, you have to be VERY specific with what you want, there is a waiter there in peticular that is an absolute joke at his job BUT the manager was very attentive to our feedback about it you can tell he really wants it to do well and I do too like I said the food is VERY good when it's done right! Still has a ways to go but if you've never had a deep dish pizza before this is the place to try it for the first time! Update: they've ironed out the kinks with the "ghost kitchen" situation type deal since I first made my review. They're one of the few greenmills I've been to that habitually makes their Jamaican wing sauce spicy enough that's most definitely what's up”
