Wonderful decor and some of the best service that I have had in a long time. This would have been a three star rating if not for the service. We had very high hopes for this restaurant but the taste fell short. Presentation was too notch but the food taste didn't match. Biscuits and gravy, biscuits were great but the gravy was flat. Sausage looked anemic from not being cooked enough with little seasoning as a whole lacking even a hint pepper and needing some salt as well. The duck hearts looked phenomenal but again the seasoning was off. We couldn't taste any of the garlic and felt the breadcrumbs drowned the heart.
We're regulars here. Great local restaurant in historic building. They boast of having the largest indoor wood fire grill in the country. Food is usually excellent, and slightly on the fancier side.
Not much surprises me. I have eaten in many top rated restaurants due to work travel. We sat at the counter and were seated promptly. Everything was spectacular. The pork literally was the best I’ve ever had, the potatoes were amazing and the experience was awesome. A surprise and a delightful one at that
This was our first visit to In Bloom. The food was good and atmosphere very pleasant. We had the fennel salad, roasted veggies, chicken with risotto and pork chop. All our food was presented beautifully and the flavors were delicious. They even brought dessert with a candle because we were celebrating a birthday! We would definitely dine here again!
My wife brought me to In Bloom for my birthday this year and I loved it! Their thing is cooking with wood fire grills and trying not to use modern appliances. So, we sat up by the kitchen to be able to watch all the activity by what is pretty much a giant fireplace. Our server was excellent and knowledgeable. We had the wagyu style beef, duck hearts, venison tartar, and a couple great cocktails. Everything was delicious and for my birthday they even gave me a choice of dessert. I had the sweet risotto. I'd never had that before but it was amazing! I highly recommend In Bloom.
