Tried this place out and really enjoyed the food. I'd never had wet tacos before. Basically the french dip of tacos. Outdoor seats was pleasant with enough room between tables. I'd go back.
Unbelievable octopus! Margaritas are the stars of the cocktail menu. Decent beer selection. Order less than you think you will want... The portions are huge. Oh! Get a side of roasted peppers!
I came here during their happy hours on weekdays from 3-6 pm. Happy hour have free chips and salsa. Their taco was only $2 which was delicious. It did come with flour tortilla. Next time I’m going to get their meats because you can order by the LB and get unlimited tortillas (corn/flour). Plus their cotton candy margarita was delicious and sweet. What I enjoyed most was they have salsa bar where you can get as much salsa as you like. There was 3 types of salsa (avocado, roasted tomatoes, spicy) and chopped cilantro, limes, and onion. I would definitely come here again because food was amazing!
We visited Woodfired Cantina last summer/fall when they opened and had the best experience - great food and drinks + great atmosphere. However upon their reopening this fall it has been a consistent let down. There have been (some) rude staff, as well as consistent let downs with the food and drink quality/availability. It never fails that the three times we've been there since it reopened this year, we have been told multiple things we ordered are not available that day despite our servers offering them to us. I really wanted to keep loving Woodfired Cantina because of our great initial experiences last summer/fall, however it has continued to be disappointing the three times we have returned this spring since May 1.
